I'm going to report some potential typos for BG1 NPC v20 in this thread.

@2

I have expressed interest to my 'father', and he had promised to include me within the operations along the Sword Coast.

had -> has

(7x) Reiltar -> Rieltar (which would match @575)

has have -> has

battle -> battles

@312 = ~Mithril Ring~

Mithril -> Mithral (The GTUL in the BG2 Fixpack changes this for vanilla game. I would suggest a change in this mod as well for consistency)

@313 = ~A ring is a small band of precious metal that is used as jewelry. At the first glance this appears to be a simple silver ring, but any Dwarf could point out a good dozen of qualities, that would tell you that the ring is made of mithril, also called 'truesilver', and many other names besides. This remarkable metal is supple and easy to work. It can be polished to shimmer like silver that never tarnishes, and it is stronger than steel. While not enchanted yet, it might be only a matter of time. Sorcerers like mithril artifacts, due to the superior durability of this metal. It might be worthwhile to hold on to the ring.~

(2x) mithril -> mithral

@361, @362

Proficiency Type: Blunt Weapons

Blunt Weapons -> Club

@392 = ~Coran presented you with these bunch and assured you that these flowers were given to him by the Twelve Months.~

@480

This is your engagement ring Ajantis gave to you. The ring is Ilvastarr family treasure. It is ornamented in rather a plain way, with only a few elaborate decorations around a light-blue gem.

->

This is the engagement ring that Ajantis gave to you. The ring is an Ilvastarr family treasure. It is ornamented in a rather plain way, with only a few elaborate decorations around a light-blue gem.

All the markings are there, and it would explain Gorion's curiosity of my studies, as well as <CHARNAME>'s being mentioned in the prophecy.

<CHARNAME>'s -> <CHARNAME>

@630

To make that posssibility less likely, Winski commissioned a nabassu to build an amulet that would ward off evil creatures long enough to gain control of them.

posssibility -> possibility

p#brlt.tra:

@111 = ~'Tis an old legend, <CHARNAME>. Some say a great battle and bold unravelled on that shore, and the pack of greater seawolves devoured a tribe of sahaugin, fish creatures. The werewolves succeeded in driving off the interlopers, but, in their own turn, were hunted and killed by my people. Others insist that a great warrior of some renown challenged the beasts' leader to a fight, and killed him in a fair battle, making the remaining wolves scatter.~

the pack of greater seawolves -> a pack of greater seawolves

sahaugin -> sahuagin

@490 = ~Bad example indeed, <CHARNAME>~

<CHARNAME> -> <CHARNAME>.

@502 = ~My thoughts turned to our current path, and I found it barren and unsatisfying. Not your path, surely. Your destiny is bright and promising, and foes flee your wrath in most disgraceful and hurried manner. 'Twas my failures I was repulsed with, for I neglected my duties greatly. I no longer revel in righteous battles, and neither do I seek proving myself in Tempus's eyes. I spend hours awake stroking your hair and dreading the moment you stir, because it would mean another march, and another battle. I have come to fear death, while months before, every day was a fine day to die.~

Tempus's -> Tempus'

p#ciflirt.tra:

@0 = ~*You open your eyes. The dawn is nearing, but the sky above you is still dark, and dotted with a myriad of shining stars. The air is laden with sleepy calm. For a moment you lay, listening to the silence and wondering what had woken you... A strange foreboding... not one of foes coming from the darkness, or the restless dreams of late, but a feeling that something wonderful is afoot, and you would be a fool to sleep though it. On nights like this, the Magical Weave of Toril seems to be as tangible as your own body. Not a sound touches the forest canopy.*~

lay -> lie

though -> through

@3 = ~*Slowly Coran lifts himself on tip-toe and stretches upward. His calves bulge from the effort, but the movement is as natural as the swaying of the reeds. Unheard song pushes him along and, as if barely containing himself, Coran dances in small steps, then breaks free and runs. Three times he stops, each time for an ever more passionate and long fuette. He is the wind, the cruel wind, that blows away the mists of the night. Then, he is a bud again. Waving gracefully with his torso as the song’s pre-dawn wind blows, he opens up to the sun. To the real sun... for the first pale-green light invades the sky.*~

fuette -> fouetté

@49 = ~Are you trying to tell me that kissing a heiresses to the Lord of Murder is titillating?~

a heiresses -> an heiress

@226 = ~*This night you dream of a carnival, wild fun, music and wine pouring out on the streets. Masked and dressed in bright finery, you dance in the crowd, and man after man vies for your attention, and merry kisses and laughter. One of your suitors looks taller and most tireless than the rest. It's to him that you send not-too-subtle glances from behind your feathered mask, the glances he eagerly returns. The night promises to be long, and the morning will find you feeling the familiar excitement of taking a new lover.*~

protrating -> prostrating

@345 = ~*A plump serving wench giggles over something Coran is whispering to her. Her hoop earnings dangle, and she presses her palm to her abundant bosom. "You’ve always been such a kidder, Master Coran!" she exclaims, but eagerly settles herself on Coran’s lap. Coran wraps his arm around her waist, and an easy smile curves his lips. The elf shares a cup of wine with her, and licks a few spilled scarlet droplets from her skin. Suddenly he lifts his head and searches the common room with his gaze, frowning worriedly when he does not see you where he had last left you. Coran suddenly gets up, and with a charming grin and quiet words he slips a few coins down the maid’s bodice. Then he leaves, and the woman stares for a few moments after him, with a surprised expression on her face.*~

earnings -> earrings

see you where he had last left you -> see you where he last left you

@346 = ~You follow Coran to his room. The door is not locked, so you take a look inside.~

@826 = ~<CHARNAME> of Candlekeep, daughter of Gorion, I love you. My love will not fade, and to you alone my heart is given. No matter what should transpire on my lonely walks, they will all end by your campfire. You arms, beloved, are my home, and by your side I will stay. By the stars and the sun and the twelve winds so I, Coran Sullussaer swear.~

@827 = ~Yes, sit... *kneels by your side* <CHARNAME> of Candlekeep, daughter of Gorion, I love you. My love will not fade, and to you alone my heart is given. @1424 = ~The next thing I knew, I was standing in the middle of the busy street in Baldur’s Gate, hugging a strange woman who sobbed into my shoulder. I think it should be "has" in this instance since it's singular. Editing my post above to make it easier to implement.

You don't need a possessive in cases like these.

@111 = ~'Tis an old legend, <CHARNAME>. Some say a great battle and bold unravelled on that shore, and the pack of greater seawolves devoured a tribe of sahaugin, fish creatures. Others insist that a great warrior of some renown challenged the beasts' leader to a fight, and killed him in a fair battle, making the remaining wolves scatter.~

a great battle and bold unravelled

This isn't necessarily wrong. It's an archaic usage, but it's not incorrect.

the pack of greater seawolves -> a pack of greater seawolves

@445 = ~How can ya act so cruelly, Monatron? Aren't halflings s'pose ta be fun-loving thieves and adventurers or more homely types?~

s'pose -> s'posed

@616 = ~There are plenty of pink stones, Imoen. Why, there are pink garnets, lals, the color of roses and pink vorobevstones, which I may say are just like m'lady's cheeks when she blushes... and pink topazes of course... some rubystones are pink and bright carnelian. My kin from Lantan trade corals sometimes, aside from the most peculiar sort of items.~

lals, the color of roses -> lals the color of roses

rubystones -> ruby stones / rubies

There should probably also be consistency as far as American or British spelling is concerned. I've seen "armour" used in some of the earlier quotes, but here, you have "color". I don't know which spelling takes priority, but either make it "armour" and "colour" (and everything else that takes a "u"), or "armor" and "color".

@649 = ~I don't care how my clothing looks, just so long the cut is practical.~

so long the -> as long as the

@111 = ~Sounds too practical for bookish fellers, that. and strange work it must of been too, seeing the skills ye both took away from the place.~

fellers, that. and -> fellers, that. And

must of -> must have / must've

@188 = ~Tell me, nuncle, why d’ ye rattle on so? Makes ye seem rather an elf that any fellow of sense.~

d' ye -> d'ye

Wow that's impressive!

One thing:

@65 = ~This shield has have been through many battle - and lost every one.~

battle -> battles

Shouldn't "has" be removed? Making it "This shield have been through many battles - and lost every one".

Thanks!

I think it should be "has" in this instance since it's singular. Editing my post above to make it easier to implement.

I'm from Sweden so English isn't my native tongue but I hope at least a majority of the report is correct...

Yes of course it's "have" that's supposed to go. Thanks. Semi-drunken proofreading in the middle of the night (I'm also in Sweden, so as you can see the time was 05:26:)) makes for stupid mistakes ;)

@398 = ~Of dear Barzenak? Why ever for? No. He tried to become a lich... didn't quite make it. They stuffed him' date=' I as I heard it, and sat him in the hallway of his former home. The new owner claimed his effigy keeps the zombies up to their work.~

Why ever for -> Whyever[/quote']

Wyhever is not a real word. "Why ever for" should IMO stay.
