CamDawg
TakePartyItemNum is listed as a BG action in the IESDP: https://gibberlings3.github.io/iesdp/scripting/actions/bg1actions.htm It doesn't work. Or, more accurately, it behaves as TakePartyItem--it takes a whole stack of items and does not care about the second parameter, e.g. setting the second parameter to 1 or 2 still causes the action to take a single stack of items. I tested on TotSC, but not vanilla BG. Do we have the original research that led to the inclusion of these higher actions? BG's action.ids ends at 193 (TakePartyItemRange) and TotSC ends with 203 (FadeFromColor). trigger.ids ends at either Detect (BG, 0x4074) or Contains (TotSC, 0x4075), but unlike action.ids, you can find the triggers listed in the IESDP used in scripts even though they're not in trigger.ids. lynx
if it's not in the archive subforum, my guess would be no, we don't have the original research. Quote Link to comment
CamDawg
I thought as much. That was my shorthand for "I'm way too lazy to check on the rest of these, I sure hope someone else does". Quote Link to comment
