CVS Server problems?

I'm wondering if it's just me. For the last couple days I have been unable to update as I keep getting

cvs [update aborted]: Error reading from server cvs.sourceforge.net: 0

 

Any ideas?

sourceforge is overloaded sometimes, try again in an hour, or day.

Don't know about anyone else but I've been unable to checkout from anon cvs for the past week or so. Getting the error in the original post

there was hw failure last week, even the developer cvs was offline, it has been back up since then.

The CVS service is still offline, but news is that it will be fixed soon.

SF promised even to improve it significantly, but the new server already crashed.

As soon as they have fixed it (and i finish playing Oblivion), the work will be resumed.

If you've already checked-out the CVS tree and want to update, note that the CVS server has changed, and if you use the old one (like if you just try "cvs update") you'll get that error.

"cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@gemrb.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/gemrb co -P gemrb" will get you a fresh copy, once it's back up again.
