So, I just followed the order of install for easytutu layed out in the thread at http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?showtopic=8122.

I installed these mods in the following order:

3.2 EasyTutu Degreenifier [uSO]

3.2 TutuFix [PPG]

6.1 Herbs & Potions Add-In [bWL]

6.2 Song and Silence [G3]

6.3 Vedran's Lost Items [sHS]

7.1 BG1 Slime Quest v1.7 [rosenranken]

7.2 Grey Clan Episode I [bWL]

7.3 Sirine's Call Quest [PPG]

7.4 Secret of Bone Hill [iEGMC] with worldmap 6.4

11.1 eSeries Scripts [G3] + bp detectable stats

11.2 gMinion Scripts [G3]

11.3 Yovaneth's Saga Scripts v2.3 [sgSeries][sHS]

13.4 iiItem[TBG]

13.7 BG2 Tweak Pack [G3]

13.8 Sword Coast Strategems [G3]

13.9 EasyTutu Spawn Randomizer [uSO]

14 TutuGUI [PPG]

Everything seems to be working fine except the e-series scripts. They appear in the script folder, I can select them and assign them to my characters, but they do...absolutely nothing :p My men stand about completely idle in the face of attack. I would like to get these scripts working--any advice?

Dumb question--do you have party AI turned on?

Yes, the AI is on. The sgseries scripts work ok, but theres an annoying pause of a few milliseconds every several seconds. I can assign the eseries scripts as well, but they do nothing. Interestingly, I've noticed that when I assign the eseries, quit out of the game and launch it again, the ai script for my characters returns to 'none'--could this be a clue?

As to the worldmap 6.4, I haven't encountered any problems yet--won't I be able to install 6.5 of the world map when it's ready and continue my existing saved game?

Hmm that sounds exactly symptomatic of a problem with Sword Coast Stratagems on slow computers. Though there are also some latency issues with eSeries. I haven't heard it for the sgSeries, but anything is possible.

There should've been a problem with a Tutu file missing, but that might've been on a 6.5 alpha I was testing. You may notice some areas being open that shouldn't be, or directions being a bit off with 6.4. The 6.5 changes a couple area-related scripts, but it probably won't be a major issue if you install it over 6.4 (I'm guessing anyway).

Hmm. It's almost as if entries were added to the script listing in the game, but the scripts either don't exist or weren't compiled. Did you see any error messages or warning while installing?

I can't recall seeing any error messages, but some may have sped by. I do know it finished off with "installed successfully" or some such thing. Noting what I've installed already, would it mess up my installation to remove and re-install the eseries now?

As to the sgseries, the tiny lag spikes only seem to come about when I select scripts that must keep checking for effects--for example hide-in-shadows or bard song. I wouldn't even call it "lag" really, its just an ever-so-slight delay at constant intervals; so if i'm scrolling the map, it will stop for just less than a second and continue, or if my characters are walking a path they'll pause ever-so-shortly and continue along. It disrupts the feel/realism of the game more than anything else, and makes it difficult to immerse myself in the environment. I do like to play bards, and an intelligent script that makes use of their song is important, since manually dealing with bard song is kind of a pain.

As to the SCS lag, I encountered that originally as well, but I removed the smarter mages component and that solved the problem.

Before reinstalling, open the Setup-eSeries.debug file (or something similar) in your Tutu folder with a text editor and look for errors. If you reinstall it, it will automatically back out and reinstall everything you installed after eSeries. Which probably won't be that big of a problem except for iiItem, which I'm not sure about. I think it seeds items randomly throughout the game so I'm not sure how that will affect you if you've already gotten some of them.

Were you using the latest SCS (v4) when you hit that delay? It should be gone in this version, unless your machine is quite slow.
