Dancer Fitz Posted April 14, 2004 Share Posted April 14, 2004 This is your generic "What'll it be" kind of thread, but since Bev, Grim and I are working on a multi-faceted sort of romance mod, I'd like to hear the kinds of sordid or otherwise fantasies you all have to see how many we can include. For example, I've seen people wish for a love/hate kind of romance, for one where they can comfort and take care of the NPC, for one with opportunities for wit and insults without killing the romance, etc. Also, there will surely be some fighting over the PC, but just what are you hoping for, eh? Do you want a chance to really rile the girls so they go tooth and nail for you(mind, with a chance it might turn on you) ... And so on. Have at it. I'll go busy myself with work now. Link to comment
BigRob Posted April 15, 2004 Share Posted April 15, 2004 I'd like to see the girls wrestle in honey for CHARNAME's affection. Don't mind my hindbrain, it just had to get a word in. Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing Inara trying to hook Keli up with someone other than CHARNAME, in order to distract her, and then have Keli realise just why Inara might try that. Loud/amusing/embarrassing shouting match to follow, with CHARNAME's actual involvement optional. Probably have to be in that rare point when both are actively interested, yet CHARNAME shows little sign of being interested.... Link to comment

I don’t want an all out killing fight like you see with say Keldorn & Vic. A humorous physical fight might be fun, but an all out verbal war is probably better. I think that it should get pretty heated. And yeah, if the PC really puts his foot in his mouth at the wrong time it should have consequences. I would like a romance where humorous is involved, if you can’t joke a little with someone then you can’t really be in love can you? Of course I would expect different kinds of humor to work when directed to and from the two sisters. I would like to see the sisters joke about the PC after one is in a romance with him. Dancer Fitz Posted April 19, 2004 Author Share Posted April 19, 2004 For my dialogues I'll be trying for sarcastic and witty bantering, perhaps a practical joke here and there. I'm going to try to keep it similar to the BG style of humor and joking about already in game. There'll probably be zings between sisters and the occasional gang-up on the PC or other NPCs, but I don't really plan on anything like slapstick or overt silliness. Though knowing Grim... We'll likely throw up examples once we get some solid, agreed up and edited work finished. Link to comment
