Installation failure

I have a clean install of the GoG versions of BG, SoD, and BG2. I ran Modmerge in my BG directory. Then I extracted EET to my BG2 directory. The setup file is inside the EET-1.0rc9.2f directory. I got the error message: "Please run this game in your infinity engine game directory." So, I moved Setup-EEt to the BG2 directory and ran it there. That generates the error: Setup-eet.tp2 not found. I'd love some advivce on what I'm doing wrong.

Here is the Debug file:

Just move the whole content of the extraction folder into the game folder... after which you can delete the extraction folder as it has no point in being in the game folder.

Aka, the EET -folder, the setup-eet.exe and readme.md are the files needed in the game folder. The .gitxxxxxxx files are there too, but you can throw fishes with them. The latest package is obviously wrongly packages, but that's what you get from amateurs.

Thanks for the reply.

I did as you suggested. Now I am getting the following:

please follow what readme says:

EET is packaged and installed with WeiDU and is distributed as a compressed archive. Extract the contents of the archive and move them to your BG2:EE game folder (directory with chitin.key file). Your game folder should then contain a EET folder and setup-EET.exe file. To initialize installation, double-click setup-EET.exe and follow the instructions on screen.

edit: added information what game folder actualy means.

I haven't started a game, yet. Figured I'd wait till I had everything installed first. I'll start both games and try running EET again.

Edit: Okay, started and saved a game in BG1 and 2.

Still not working. Her's my debug file:

I suspect you have moved content of EET folder into main game directory and that is why weidu can't find strings. If this is the case then please let me know which part of the above quoted readme is confusing. English is not my first language so maybe it could be explained a bit better.

@K4thos:

If that were the case, he could just re-extract the EET folder from the archive INto the game folder, aka extract the whole archive elsewhere and then move just the EET folder there, after deleting the original... and run the setup-eet.exe again.

I followed the instructions exactly, as far as I can tell. I extracted the files to my BG2 folder and ran the setup file. It failed. I moved the files from the EET folder to the BG2 folder and tried it that way, as well. It still doesn't work. I have tried multiple times with a clean install each time.

EET works like any other mod you install. From the unpacked master.zip you put the folder called EET and the setup-EET.exe into your BG2EE directory. You start the exe and that is all.

Somehow you failed to see that there's no such file, the archive's name is "EET-1.0rc9.2f.zip" and it contains a folder called "EET-1.0rc9.2f", from which the setup-eet.exe and EET folder need to be extracted into the game folder...
