I found duplicates of items and scrolls in several shops and locations and on enemies. Weidu log follows.

I found duplicates of items and scrolls in several shops and locations and on enemies. Weidu log follows.
Like sad... the question is, were they really duplicate unique items, like say 2 Carsomyr's(unique items usually have unique name's), or were they common item's like "Two Handed Sword +2", or the "Gate" -spell scroll that 2 mages can learn and so they are "needed".

Except for one case (a container in the lowest room of the Tanner shop had two Minor Sequencer) I can't remember which enemies/locations carried duplicate scrolls, since it was rather frequent. Up to now I've found Ribald has two Amulet of the Master Harper and two Lavender Ioun Stone, Joluv has two Dwarven Thrower and the well in the Windspear dungeon yelded a Duskblade, which I had already found on an enemy. There may be others, but that's what I've seen so far.

Is there a way to determine what items were lost?

Ah, so the creatures have two of the same exact items.

Did you start a new game after you installed the last mod ? And usually, you need to have more than 1 scroll to actually have a usable mage, more if you have more of them... and I usually have 3 at least partly arcane casters... so that's a lot of used scrolls.

Few scrolls are truly unique. E.g. there are actually 10 scrolls of Minor Sequencer being randomised, not accounting for mods. I don't think you have anything to worry about there.

Those are not caused by Item Randomiser, as it does not randomise ToB items into SoA, and Joluv doesn't receive any random items.

and the well in the Windspear dungeon yelded a Duskblade, which I had already found on an enemy.

I don't know about that one. Maybe there's some compatibility issue causing it. I'll look into it.

It may well be that no items have been lost. The item duplication bug in v5 has been fixed and is not responsible for your problems.

I suspect you have something anomalous going on with your game. Following your weidu.log, I can't reproduce any the issues you've described.

Though I did find two small oversights leading to duplicates of the Ring of Djinni Summoning and the Ring of Lock Picks if you install RR's Shadow Thief Improvements together with Item Randomiser and kill the Shadow Thieves.

Do you remember if the duplicated items you found were stacks of more than 1 item or if they were 2 or more stacks of the same item?

I think I have a similar issue in my game, I picked up 2 copies of Malakar +2 and the bone club +2+3 v undead, 1 in their normal spellhold locations and 1off random monsters / loot. I have installed 1 pixel productions graphics improvement but I thought that just made changes to the item files themselves rather than location?

I picked up 2 copies of Malakar +2

There may be something strange going on with the standing troll/prone troll thing. I'll have to test it but there may be something here, yes.

and the bone club +2+3 v undead,

That one is unfortunately because you've got plain v5 installed. You can read more about it here. If you provide me with your debug file I can offer you my educated guess as to which items were lost as a result of this item duplication bug.

Thank you, if I know which items are duplicated/gone I can try and correct for it with the console, assuming theres no way to actually fix it without restarting the game. Just realised I also have a 2nd dusty rose ioun stone, like some others, which I guess makes sense given its the same bug, and that alternatives has issues with v5.

The randomizer debug file is here.

Hmm hmm, the Spellhold troll will need to be moved back to Mode 2. It also affects TorGal, should he receive a random item (which isn't too likely).

I guess I'll release a hotfix for this.

You have PM.
