Welther can give out multiple copies of the Silver Pantaloons.

 

In a D file:

ADD_TRANS_TRIGGER WELTHER 1 ~!PartyHasItem("MISC50")~

 

Also, we're going to want to make MISC50 on the CRE file nondroppable and nonstealable. I'm too tired at the moment to come up with the code for this, though.

Anyway, the party shouldn't even have a chance to talk to Welther after he pays the ransom. Some use of SetInterrupt() and/or DialogueInterrupt() should work here.

We coudl just append something like this to the top of his script, it will solve any potential problems:

Waitaminute--unlike GiveItemCreate, GiveItem only works if the object giving the item has the item in inventory. If this action gets repeated, Welther has no further pantaloons to give.
