DavidW
A space for known problems with the existing version, to be fixed in the next release. Here's the only one I know of so far: due to my misunderstanding the subtleties of ALLOW_MISSING in weidu, the "choose NPC proficiencies and skills" component won't install unless you have Finch, Indira and Mur'Neth installed first. (Workaround: install them. You can always ignore them if you don't want them. But I'll fix this when I next release). [edit:fixed] Link to comment
DavidW
Here's another one, thanks to Arawn at the PPG boards: Basillus considerately buffs your party as well as his when you meet him. This is deliberate, honest: he's insane, remember? Okay, it's a bug. I'll fix it on the next release. [edit: fixed] Link to comment
DavidW
Oops, and another one, due to Lemernis: there is a typo in the revised code for "move NPCs". This means that Tiax is in the Nashkel carnival instead of Beregost, and that Quayle doesn't move at all. [edit: fixed] Link to comment
DavidW
The above all fixed in the latest release. Link to comment
DavidW
A couple more bugs (or at least "peculiarities") identified over at Sorceror's Place: - Slythe and Krystin follow you around indefinitely if you solo and flee invisibly. - Treachery in the ranks! Daveorn's battle horrors occasionally turn on him. Also, clerics using the Command spell behave in an impressively chivalrous manner: having knocked out their opponent for a round with Command, they sportingly refrain from attacking them till they wake up! And here I am hoping that a lot more glitches turn up as I simply love to read about bugs your way. Link to comment
DavidW
I haven't been able to confirm this, and I won't be able to for a couple of weeks as I'm going away, but I've had a report of weird behaviour in the Durlag's Tower chess battle that might be due to SCS. Specifically, if you're finding that you can't move away from your start square on the chessboard and your orders keep being disrupted, it could be an SCS problem (one caused by the game's inconsiderate habit of sometimes continuing to run the scripts of areas you're not in, which it's possible I haven't adequately insulated against.) If you can use the cheat console, try CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("SPRITE_IS_DEADKALDRAN","GLOBAL",0) and then CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("DMWWChessDelay","GLOBAL",0) as a workaround. I'll try to check this out more thoroughly when I'm back in the UK. Link to comment
DavidW
Oh joy. Of course, just before I'm about to go away is exactly the write time for me to find new bugs. It turns out that the "better calls for help" component of SCS breaks the Worgs-around-the-lighthouse quest (and so upsets Lure of the Sirine's Call too). This is because of compatibility errors with other mods an unexpected complexity in the game's script allocation sheer incompetence on my part. (Basically the wolf call-for-help script overwrites the "I'm dead" script for those worgs). There's an easy workaround: once you've killed the worgs, use the console to do CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("WorgsDead","GLOBAL",3) But I'll fix it once I'm back. Link to comment
Shaitan
Hi! I get this smaller bug when confronting Mulahey in Nashkel Mines: When he buffs his minions I get buffed too. This actually makes him easier to beat for me Perhaps the wrong thread to publish this in, but you know what to do... Link to comment

Okay, I'll chase it. Link to comment
Guest Freedan
Hey. Got a bit of a problem with the "Improved Balduran's Isle" componant. I wanted to try the new path, without having to kill Kaishas, so I completed Durlyle's quests before I killed the wolfweres, but never spoke to Delainy. At the final meeting with Kaishas at the ship, I took the new dialogue path, but once complete, the game locks up in the cinimatic mode, where I assume Durlyle is supposed to appear. I can still move my mouse and the characters are moving, but Durlyle never appears and I have to ALT-F4 out of the game. The reinforcements on the fight path work, though. Lots of wolves to hack up. sturmvogel
I had a problem with Brownwen. When I de-petrified her I didn't want her in the party and she walked off. When I came back in Ch. 3 she was still there petrified. Link to comment
DavidW
Guest: I'll chase the Balduran's Isle problem. (Sorry to you and others: I'm a bit behind on bugfixes right now for RL reasons, will catch up shortly I hope!) Can I confirm that you're playing with a female protagonist, so you were flirting with Durlyle earlier in the Isle quest? Sturmvogel: I can't offhand see how that can be an SCS problem... but I'm happy to be corrected. What else do you have installed? Link to comment
sturmvogel
I seem to remember a similar problem with Branwen the last time I played BG1 lo, these many years ago, so it's likely not an SCS problem. Link to comment
DavidW
I believe all bugs above are now fixed in version 3. Link to comment
