Invalid Dialog.tlk (wrong sig)

I'm trying to install SCS with a Ciderized (for Mac) version of TuTu BG1/TotSC. I can get through the entire installation without difficulty, but attempting to install other WeiDU mods after that will bring up an error regarding "invalid Dialog.tlk (wrong sig)."

 

If I install just the initial core component and then quit, the same issue comes up with further WeiDU install attempts, including of SCS itself.

 

I tried disabling ToBEx and hacks, but that didn't help.

 

Any suggestions? It would be really great to be able to use this mod. Thanks...

Not a clue, sorry (and I don't know anything about Macs, so I'm not well positioned to help.)

"Wrong sig" indicates something has messed up your dialog.tlk. If you are not averse to taking a quick peek with a hex editor, the first 8 bytes should read "TLK V1 " (two spaces at the end). It is possible this Tutu version you used mucked up the file during installation.

Thanks very much for your replies. I ended up abandoning my install effort, but if I get around to it again I'll give the hex editor approach a try.
