Having a problem installing

OK, same issue with "HIDEINSHADOWS" not found in Stats.IDS that has already been mentioned in this thread, but with a new twist: I'm getting [PROFICIENCYDART] not found either.

eseries/build1.8/baf/eMage.baf.BAF] PARSE ERROR at line 268 column 39-39

Near Text: )

[CheckStatGT] argument [PROFICIENCYDART] not found in [stats.IDS]

[eseries/build1.8/baf/eMulti.baf.BAF] PARSE ERROR at line 269 column 39-39

Near Text: )

[CheckStatGT] argument [PROFICIENCYDART] not found in [stats.IDS]

Is there an equivalent solution, i.e. renaming something in the Stats.IDS file? If so, it's not obvious ..

Looking through the .tp2 for the eSeries, it isn't doing anything to the Kit.ids file.

So either Barbarian isn't in the default Kit.ids that ships with your particular version of the game, or possibly another mod is overwriting Kit.ids and is deleting or misplacing the entry for Barbarians so that the compiler can't identify it.

If you are compusavvy, you can go check the Kit.ids file and see if there is an entry for barbarian and see what number is in front of it.

My Kit.ids, which is in the override folder has the following entries.

0x0000 BARBARIAN

0x0000 WILDMAGE

Those or zeros by the way.

Hmmm, looks like that is probably mod content so, 3rd option is that you don't have a mod installed that everyone is expected to have installed, say Baldurdash, or the more modern version the G3 Fixpack (or it may now be called the BG2 Fixpack). Which would be bad coding on our part.

I probably should've mentioned that I was trying to install it to EasyTutu (in which, mod should work too), but I looked from kits.ids, and found these:

0x0000 BARBARIAN

0x0000 WILDMAGE

I installed tehse mods, or at least part of them before eSeries:

EasyTutu

EasyTutuHotfixes

EasyTutu De-greenifier

Tutufix

Restored BG1 Casting Sounds

Restored Textscreen Music

Song and Silence

Rogue Rebalancing v3.8

Vedran's Lost Items

BG1 Unfinished Business for Tutu

BG1 NPC Project v14

BG1 NPC Music Pack

Improved BAMs

One Pixel Productions and then

eSeries
