lynx
a simple test that will tell you everything: 1. backup dialog.tlk and dialogf.tlk (if any) 2. copy the turkish versions from ee to your bg2 dir I suspect you'll be missing several glyphs if it doesn't crash. Link to comment

AstroBryGuy
BGEE uses the UTF-8 character encoding for all languages. The original BG does not. It uses Windows code page encodings, e.g., CP-1252 for western languages, CP-1250 for central European languages, etc.. You would need to transform the encoding from UTF-8 to the correct CP encoding for Turkish (assuming there is support for CP-1254 in the BG1/BG2 engines). Link to comment
lynx
"just" a few tweaks of this away: https://github.com/gemrb/gemrb/commit/9b1fb5c385e3c3d4304f942367cf910ca92a84ed bam fonts not having all the characters would be a bigger problem. Link to comment
