Some Edited Portraits

Hmm.. I've played SOA all the way through a couple of times and i own TOB but I've never actually finished TOB where I guess I would encounter that issue. What size should I redo the portraits to to make them work? If I resize them to this size you tell me can I still use them in the game? I'll reup all of them if you tell me

Probably the easiest way is to download Infinity Explorer: http://infexp.sourceforge.net/

 

With it, you can export the .bmps for the files used as portrait in the game. That way you can manipulate the original images in all sizes, rather than trying to up-size smaller ones.

Ok I see what you mean and you're right they don't scale up well at all. Oh well, from now on I'll use the bigger ones .. well here's a recreated new look mazzy..

 

EDIT: I also recreated a bigger "Man about Town" Haer Daleis above and Korgan...

And as a (sort of) paladin, Mazzy is obviously paying due care and attention to her appearance at all times.

the man,  here's a more sophisticated Haer Dalies (no longer looks like a multi-class Ranger/Tennis player lol)

The idea is very interesting but it looks to me that the head is cut of at a bit of too abrupt angle on the left top side and the head incline is a tad worng.
