Should I beat TOB before I play this?

I just signed up to this forum and am very exited about this mod. I didn't think that someone would ever make a sequel to BG2 and throne of bhaal. My only question is that should I beat Throne of Bhaal before I play this? Also, exactly how long is this mod. 10-20 hours with subquests? And finally will there be an addition of NPCs. Not to ask for too much, but maybe it would be cool if there were 6 more npcs added. We also need an assortment of all alignments, (Including neutral). Other than that, I am extremely exited about this!!

Unless you already know what happens in ToB, I would play it through. It's hard to say hours wise how long the mod will be but we are shooting for four chapters, however long that is going to be. And yeah there are 6 new NPCs. If you browse through the forum you'll find their names and descriptions.

Thanks for the advice, I can't tell you how excited I am about this mod. Oh and sorry about the double-post, my computer froze. As for before, I was just wondering if there were going to be any more than just the 6 npcs. If there are any ideas for npcs can I help? I am a writer myself so if there are any ideas for characters who should I send the ideas to?

We'd prefer the writing to be in similar style to the others, so we're not really accepting other writing right now. If you have ideas for quests though, just pm them to either of us. Most likely we are sticking with the 6 npcs.
