The Edit string command doesn't work anymore !

 

Using a french dialog file, here is the result of the edit string command :

Everything is fine in the dialog window, but if I open the Edit string window :

 

 

Same thing with Items :

 

 

 

In fact, I had to face this bug since you released the first BGEE version of DLTCEP.

 

It seems it is only a display problem because the dialog files are not corrupted (it happens even with a vanilla installation).

Other french modders told me that the same thing occurs with IWD dialog files.

 

It happens every time the string contains special letters that are not displayed (é, à, è, ù ...)

 

To look for a specific string, I had to dig up and reinstall the old Talkviewer instead of DLTCEP.

 

It is not a big stuff, just a bit annoying...

Btw, why did you have to dig up an old <different program>, if an old DLTCEP would have worked just as well

Because I need the new commands that improved the latest versions of DLTCEP (ambient screen, an un-buggy bam splitting fonction and so many others).

 

And because I don't know if it is possible to install two or more different versions on the same HD.

 

So I mod with DLTCEP and look for strings with an old tool...
