Game crashes when casting Summon Shadow.

Well, as the title says the game crashes everytime I try to cast Shadowdancers

Summon Shadow.

 

I first had it happen while playing TuTu after which I installed Song and Silence to a patched Vanilla BG 2 ToB and it doesnt work there either, so its not a compatibility issue I guess.

The moment it crashes is right as the character finishes his casting animation and the Shadow is supposed to appear.

 

Any help on fixing this would be appreciated because apart from this problem I have been really enjoying Song and Silence.
