Ulb
Hey, I'`m having an issue with an animation .bam file I'm porting. I remember having this issue from before, when I ported the werebear animation but I can't remember just how I fixed it back then. The problem is color glow effects will also affect the animation's shadow. The shadow works otherwise as it is supposed to (transparent). I've tried saving the .bam compressed and uncompressed and also tried NI's option to “compress frames” but nothing helped so far. The file version is “legacy1” according to NI. (No clue about the PVRZ stuff but I don't think it works for animation .bams? At least when I tried it crashed the game..) Would be great if anyone can help. Link to comment
Ulb
Nevermind, I'm just a moron. Somehow my shadow color got set to 0/1/0 instead of 0/0/0 and that seems to have been the problem.. Link to comment
Gwendolyne
+1 : shadow color in creature animation bam must always be set to (0,0,0). I had the same issue while porting Diablo II animations to BG2. Link to comment
