NiGHTMARE
The priests of the two temples of Waukeen (GOVWAU01.cre + TEMSUP.cre ) both mention "Shaundakar", and the Athkatlan priest (GOVWAU01.cre) also refers to her as "goddess of caravans". However, it is not Shaundakar but Shaundakul, and she is in fact a he. The developers didn't seem able to decide whether it's Roenall or Roenal. Roenall seems to be used more often, so I'm guessing that's the correct one. Roenall: Most of Nalia's banters, Roenall Estate, first stronghold journal entry, etc Roenal: A couple of Nalia's banters, Corgeig Axehand, Lord Roenal at the funeral, second stronghold journal entry, etc Link to comment

SConrad
Btw, are you looking at the non-Baldurdash text update of dialog.tlk? Link to comment
SConrad
Btw, I just found out that the game is also inconsistent with their GLOBAL's, they use both Roenal and Roenall, and they use Roenal far more often than Roenall in this case. A subject of fixing? Link to comment
CamDawg
I already have the game text update coded, so we should base any text changes of off the Baldurdash dialog.tlk. Link to comment
NiGHTMARE
Ah, the game text update fixes the Roenall issue. It doesn't address the Shaundakar issue, however. Link to comment
SConrad
I've fixed the Shaundakar issue with STRING_SET's. Link to comment
devSin
Make sure to standardize "de'Arnise." There are some really wacky variations in the original game text. I chose "de'Arnise" for the family, and "Lord Arnise" for the patron (although it's probably best to just stick with de'Arnise). Link to comment
CamDawg
Altered: #38608: changed Lord Arnise to Lord de'Arnise #38721, #38722: Removed BD's change of de'Arnise Guard to De'Arnise Guard #39973: De'Arnise Hold to de'Arnise Keep (this is one of only two strings where it is a hold and not a keep) #50781, #50818: De'Arnise Signet Ring to de'Arnise Signet Ring Nalia's epilogue; changed de'Arnise Hold to de'Arnise Keep Included in alpha v2. devSin
I don't know if this be counting as a bug, but some genius at BioWare decided to denote where they tried to wax onomatopoeic, or use some interjections, with angled brackets '<' and '>' - which means they don't show up in the game (the engine interprets this as a token, which it can't resolve). Not a big deal, really, but it's interesting to note the "burps" and "urps" and crap that the player is missing out on. Good luck finding them all. Link to comment

NiGHTMARE
Found another one. StringRefs 7285 & 13137 (History of Calimshan, both identical): "blah blah blah Today, the Shoon impact on Calimshan is still great. The grandeur of that empire is responsible, more, than anything else, for the strong national character of Calimshan today. The ruins of Shoon's greatest city, Monrativi Teshy Mir, can still be found in the wilderness to the west of the edge of the Forest of Mir (see below for more on Morativi Teshy Mir). blah blah blah" The problem is, there isn't any more on Monrativi Teshy Mir, in these or any other StringRefs. If you like I can provide some info to add, or you could simply remove the bracketed comment entirely. Link to comment
devSin
This is done for the Chosen of Mystra book, as well ("see 'Powers' below"). I've always justified it by thinking you're reading an excerpt from the book (although the referenced sections exist, the PC doesn't care enough to read them). Link to comment
NiGHTMARE
Well it wouldn't be "see below" in either case, it'd be something like "see page X", "see the chapter entitled", or "is detailed later in the book" . Link to comment
