No dialog.tlk found (non-EE games)

I've tried setting up DLTCEP 7.7 to the old games and having this problem because it looks for the dialog.tlk under the lang/en_US/dialog.tlk directory path. Is there a setting I can change to revert to the "old" path?

 

This only applies to the old games (non-EE such as IWDII and IWD Complete), the EE games work fine.

Have you selected the option to "Edit both .tlk's" ? None of the game specific preset options have that selected(in v7.6d).

This still comes up with "Edit both tlks" selected.

 

However I found what was the reason. Under Settings > Change Settings > Set WeiDU options, under the Language field you have to disable en_US (select and press delete key). Then everything including reading scripts work.
