Armor troubles

Hi guys. I just experienced a problem with Breakable armor component in v9.

(also using BG1Npc)

 

Branwen's armor broke during my last combat. I went into her inventory to change it and the miscellaneous item icon is there,and her armor slot is empty, no visible problem.

 

However, when I went to put new armor in the slot it tells me this item cannot be removed. Apparently , armors have spirits too, its kinda scary.

Umm... ok, I guess it decided to move into the light.

 

I just reloaded, and the slot accepted new armor.
