  1. Been trying to narrow things down a bit and started a new installation without EET, just BGEE and SoD (for the time being). Then added (mostly) the mods as before. Was very happy when I ran into Xzar and Montaron both with correct hitpoints. Continued and met Eldoth (moved to the Kingsway with the Convenient Locations for NPCs tweak) and he had 21 hp on lvl 1 - as a bard (jester kit)!! This time I kept playing since I'm not planning to use either X+M nor E. But Jaheira and Khalid have wrong hitpoints as well (though not as outrageous amounts). Also noticed that spellcasters have one spellslot too many on lvl 1. This is repaired when levelling up. NPC separation tweak works fine. My mistake, didn't read the description properly which states that they both leave initially but you can then talk to one of them again and have him/her join separately. Is it maybe a EE oddity with the hitpoints? Otherwise the game and the mods work very well (halfway through BG1). Here's the WeiDu log. Greetings Azaghal WeiDU.log
  2. You are right. The installation had previously been interrupted due to problems. As I am a total newbie with PI I just figured a way to continue the installation not really knowing what I was doing. And that probably caused the problem. Restarted installation from scratch with a new folder and it worked. Thank you very much. Azaghal
  3. Hello fellow gibberlings, finally bought the EE games, invested a lot of time trying to wrap my mind around Project Infinity and eventually got an EET megamod installation working (though I had a few warnings during the process). BG1 UB and Stone of Askavar have been installed manually on BG EE before. Game is running and looking good. Then I meet Montaron and Xar. When they join my party they have 37/38 and 24/24 hitpoints respectively on level 1. Whoa! Tried to correct it with EE keeper but to no avail. Loading the edited save gives me same (wrong) number of hitpoints (other aspects can be edited successfully). I have no idea what went wrong or if it's even a mod (which one?) causing this. I'm playing on insane difficulty with SCS + max hitpoints for every creature in the the game but all of that should not be the culprit. Or if it is, why doesn't it ruin the SC or Imoen? By the way: separating NSC pairs is also not working though the tweak has been installed. WEIDUlog attached. Any ideas? Greetings Azaghal Edit: Typo. WeiDU.log
  4. Same here. Did you encounter any problems when playing? I guess (hope) that it's just that - a warning.... Greetings Azaghal

  6. Thanks for your input. Indeed I tried to use the BiGWorld Installer previously, but did not succeed. Thus I'm currently trying to install my (massively reduced number of) mods one by one and with my bare hands. The BiGWorldInstallpack folder is still in the BGII SoA folder and contains WeiDu v246. So it was my first guess also to replace it with the newest version. But that didn't help, which is kind of plausible when I'm actually not using the installpack. So it's good to know that the mods use the WeiDU version they are delivered with and that different versions in different mods should not be a problem. But that leaves my problem unsolved that the Expanded Thief Stronghold mod does not install while I suspect it's the WeiDu version that causes the problem (though it's only a guess since I do not understand the Debug-log). Unfortunately there is no subforum for this mod that I know of. Any more suggestions by any chance? I really like this mod and would regret to have to drop it. Yours Azaghal
  7. Hello everybody! While trying to do a BGT multimod installation (on Windows 64 bit) I discovered that for whatever reason the mods start to install with WeiDu v246, though the latest version is 249 and I have put the latter into my BGII-SoA folder. I tried to fiddle with programs that come along with WeiDu like Weinstaller (though I do not really know what I'm doing). Somehow I managed to proceed to version 247 (again no idea how that was accomplished) but I suspect that - while the majority of mods installs just fine with the outdated versions - some of the newer ones fail because of that. Actually it's the Expanded Thief Stronghold v3.0.0 mod (gbthfkp) that's constantly failing to install (see attached Debug-log). I have no idea how to pacify it with a newer WeiDu version, so any hints would be welcome. Thanks Azaghal SETUP-GBTHFKP.DEBUG
  8. Arrgh. I failed at the installation with both PI and the BiG World Installer. But it's not the Ascension mod. There are other issues I still have to figure out. Thanks everyone here. I will resurface at another subforum with my problems Greetings Azaghal
  9. You are right. Obviously something went wrong when I restored a clean installation before re-trying the mod installation. Don't know the exact reason since I followed instructions but after I installed BG2/TOB from scratch, Ascension installed just fine. Sadly I messed up with PI afterwards and so I have to do it all again. Getting a bit tedious, but that's not the mod's fault. When I finally manage to finish the multimod installation, I will report back. Thanks again Azaghal
  10. Well, I tried another install last night, leaving out BP completely, while clinging to Oversight. That gave me a 50% chance to find the culprit. And I was lucky. Ascension component 0 did not stop at AR6200 like before - but at another place this time: Now there seem to be problems with spells since malison, resist fear and spellshield are mentioned in the debug-error-log I have attached (together with the WeiDu.log). Also the installation seems to miss a file name FINSLOW.spl (another spell?). This is odd, because to my knowledge no spell altering mods have been installed so far. So again I need your help to figure out what went wrong. P.S. This time the other Ascension components installed completely with the exception of Tougher Yaga Shura. Probably this is incomaptible with the Tougher Firegiants component from Tactics mod that I've installed instead of BP. So I'm optimistic this can be handeled by myself. Thanks in advance. 11. Thanks jastey. This gives me something to try out tonight and report back. Already thought about dropping BP completely so it would not be a big deal. Concerning Oversight: According to Leonardo Watson's Big World 19.2 only the component Tougher Sendai installs before Fixpack. This is what I did. Other components will be installed later. The PI at least did not complain about this install order (though it did at other occasions). But as AR6200 is Sendai's Lair you may be right. Greetings Azaghal
  12. Hello everybody and thanks for your continuous efforts to keep IE modding alive. After a longer absence I started a new BGT multimod installation using modmanager ProjectInfinity (for the first time) and following the installation order recommended in Leonardo Watsons BigWorld v19.2 (yeah, I know it's already one year since it was last updated, but I found no more recent lists). Since I'm still figuring out how PI works, I decided to do things step by step with only a handful of mods installed at a time. Everything worked fine until I reached Ascension (using version 2.0.23). Component 0 (Rewritten final chapter) did not install, as you can see in the attached Project Infinity WeiDU-Debug-log. A second try delivered the same result. Next component (Redeemed Balthasar) installed fine, but then installation stopped. I'm adding WeiDu-log and the file SetupAscension.debug in case that helps. I would have dropped any of the smaller mods to continue, but Ascension is absolutely crucial, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
