Best mod EVAR!

Recommended Posts

I finally got to SOA and I'm thrilled to be cheating so mercilessly on Xan playing this mod!

It's awesome!

Eldoth is a bastard!

Bjornin is hardcore!

Laran: "what, you still here? t_t "

Ive had a lot of laughs so far, and I'm aiming for Sir Ryan Trawl now ;) I must say you evil people are all great writers.

After seeing Bjorning was written by jastey I must say I have high expectations for BG2 Ajantis hahaha ;)

It's been quite some time since i've played such an original mod, great work! Traify it! ;)

Thank you very much! ;)

Ah... you might want to lay off Ryan Trawl... first, he is for human paladins only; and second, it seems that Bioware screwed up with Ryan's dialogue for paladins, and I went and repeated their mistake: completed Fallen Paladins quest shuts it all the way. But we have a long, long list of guys - help yourself, the full list is in our Readme!

(And take your time in the Underdark...)

Very often so, but situations vary oh-so-drastically - remembrance, collection, greed, boredom, enjoyment, revenge, convenience... My personal favourite is a tie between true love and hearing 'Coo!' in Gaelan's encounter.

So much has changed since the time of Kiara mod when its sexscene scandalized loads of people and now you have a very big sex contest with Bjornin!

It's obviously for the better, but the only downside I can see here is that we male players have so few lover to choose compared to female players! Chanelle's great, but what you girls can do to/with Bjornin and Talak is very far away to our (male) options.

Great writting to all of you, congratulations for the mod.

I am glad to hear that; I was planning on introducing a female paladin with an encounter that could be seen as a Bjornin-substitute for male players. My first efforts died, though, as I had the impression the (female dominated) team wasn't that interested, and the only male comment was a wish for lesser sex, more story. Er, something like that. In a very dark, rainy night, I might come back to that, though.

It's really up to you, the author - you don't need the team's interest and/or the players's approval. Or vice versa. As long as the component is written and coded, it's in.

{And if it's especially good, but you just cannot code, I'll likely code it for you - but you can code very well, jastey, I know that. :) }

I've repeatedly mentioned that I may not like, or may disagree with some bits, as I tend to do, but that's just my opinion - I do not edit stuff(save grammar/punctuation/formatting), unless given permission to. I will suggest changes, but in the end, it's your decision.

The only way something won't be included is if it's outright horrible, or really, really overly-detailed -

{I'll likely consult Cam on this one, though maybe it's better if I don't, because we really don't want Cam playing Bjornin and Chanelle and Bodhi and other steamy stuff and banning us as a result, do we?}

- or has only one reply for the player in every state, and the author absolutely refuses to add any more("YOU MUST LOVE HER!11!!"). Then, as I mentioned in the original thread, I'll likely say "No, this will not go in, I cannot possibly not include it." However, so far I included everything that was submitted.

No, no, I don't take mod-related stuff personally - just clarifying things.

I don't know about writing for the public, though. Releasing a mod in the public domain - sure. But I only write stuff I myself want to play(though, naturally, striving for seamless integration, good grammar, something unique and clever, etc. But it's for me, first and foremost. I'd tell another anekdote about it... but maybe another time).
