Roxanne
Btw, I packed EET compatible versions of PPG Banter Pack and NPC Flirtpack, but those need to be tested first before they go into BWS: Banter Pack Flirtpack So, best everyone leans back and waits until someone else does the work (i.e. testing and integrating into BWS). Not sure I understand the wording correctly - those are ready for integration into BWS EET or not? Quote Link to comment
jastey
No, noone played with these mod versions so far. The last sentence is sarcastic. In case noone noticed: I got a bit frustrated at the general lack of playtesters nowadays. Edited July 25, 2017 by jastey Quote Link to comment
Mirandel
Here are two more mods for category 2 Adrian NPC (EET version) Thanks to Mirandel to obtain permission for this one. Expanded Mage Stronghold This is a tuned down and balanced extract from the abandoned Planar Sphere mod. It ressurrects the extra stronghold quests from that mod but removes the overpowered items and spells and the excessive XP gain. The final quest (blowing the planes apart, killing half the gods of Faerun and getting 33 level 9 spells and 1mio XP) has been replaced by a more adequate ending, In addition, the mod no longer overwrites files. It should be compatible with all stronghold mods and tweaks, the additional contents starts after the vanilla tasks for the stronghold are finished. You are a life saver! I have no more excuses not to try EET Quote Link to comment
Roxanne
BWS support for CtB and RoT - need direction Currently those two mods are not yet included in the BWS for EET. The EET versions require the unpacking of the original mod and the patching by the EET-patch from the first page. Afterwards the mod installation is supposed to use the new files and the new tp2's. Two methods are used by BWS currently - either the patch is applied from fixpack, i.e.the patches for those mods are provided to fixpack, OR - the EET install for those mods follow the TDDz example, i,e, they are provided in the form of e.g. RoTEE and CtBEE with setups that follow the TDDz method. There may be other methods, but none of my ideas/trials up to now have been successful. Any suggestions? Edited July 25, 2017 by Roxanne Quote Link to comment

Recently installed another EET with Mage stronghold and other new EET compatible NPC mod (Adrian, Arath, Ninde, Nephele etc.), other mods same as the previous successful installation. Turned out the game stuck when launching and I used the tool from K4thos provided previously. I receive this message below:- INFO: LUA: Initializing Quests Probably caused by Planar Sphere one? This mod does not add any journal entries. I found a line in Adrian's setup that was adding a normal talk to the journal entries. I corrected this but I am not sure that was the reason. I have all of the mods in my own install using the english versions and my game starts without issue. Do you use another language? I confess, I did not check translations. Unless you find something else, my only idea is to download Adrian again to see if the issue is fixed. Edited July 26, 2017 by Roxanne Quote Link to comment

Maybe it is caused by Adrian mod, I will install again. And I also found that the Crossmod component from Adrian mod cannot be installed successfully and I checked the file seems there are some non-EET compatible mod, i.e. Faren. I will try install manually for this component this time. Quote Link to comment

Thank you, guess I have to reinstall again. Something off topic, I know you have helped converting the longer road mod to make it compatible in EET. However the version in BWS is still stay at 1.5.1. Should I write at BWS Board instead? Quote Link to comment

Mirandel
Going through the mods in all 3 lists now, and it looks like one is out of place - Xan's friendship path v10 or above. This is BG1EE mod but it's listed among BG2EE that should be installed after EET file is in place. Is it right? Quote Link to comment

This is BG1EE mod but it's listed among BG2EE that should be installed after EET file is in place. Is it right? You will find a number of mods with BG1 content (e.g. Grey Clan or Sirens Call etc) that are installed in EET in that second part. Ideally one day all mods should be updated to do this. It is not a matter of where the contents takes place but how the mod is converted. Mind that in EET it is finally all one game with all the mods (and they are all in BG2EE, technically). Just checked Xan again and it is correct, the mod detects which game it is (e.g. ACTION_IF GAME_IS ~eet~ THEN BEGIN....) and copies and compiles the right files. Quote Link to comment
Mirandel
Hm... Then how do you install it manually? It supposed to be installed (for BG1) after BG1NPC and before Ajantis BG1. Both of them you are supposed to install before EET. What to do in that situation? Quote Link to comment

Both of them you are supposed to install before EET. What to do in that situation? Erhm, if the mod is converted to be fully EET compatible, you can install it AFTER EET too, as it comes with the data that the EET's auto-converter makes the BG1EE mods to be EET mods, during the EET's install, as that just replaces a few bits of data with other data, just like most BG1&Tutu&BGT mods do, where those mods had to be installed AFTER the converter mod was installed to the technically BG2 game.
