Bill Bisco
Does this mod allow you to have windowed mode for BG2? I would like to keep this game feature. What do I have to do to get it back? Link to comment
AL|EN
Due to the amount of work, is not possible. You can buy Edchenced edition and have this: Link to comment
Jarno Mikkola
ALIENQuake... not the correct answer. I know that you mean well, but that's not what Bill Bisco asked. First of all you need to set the normal game to use the windowed mode via the BGConfig.exe, and not to use the screen scaling in your GPU Control Panel ... AT ALL if that becomes an issue, so test it and make sure that it works without the Widescreen mod. Then you just install the Widescreen mod and use a less than max screen resolution and there you go. Pictures. Normal 800x600 windowed game: With Widescreen mod(1400x880): Link to comment

Bill Bisco
Jarno and Alien thanks a lot for your posts. It is much appreciated. What resolution should I use? My TV is currently at 1280 x 768. If I chose 1279 x 767 would I magicaly now be able to not use full screen? Link to comment
Jarno Mikkola
You really need to leave a little room at least for the marginals, and the top one is about 12 pixels in height, while the bottom one is 3-4 as are the left and right ones... So at maximum, use ~1272x752 and hope and blarg. And you'll likely still need to adjust the height a bit as the Windows task bar could be a hassle. Link to comment
