Sorry, but I'm having trouble installing the patch from https://github.com/subtledoctor/ItemRevisions I download the zip from the code button and overwrite files in the previously extracted IR v4b10, but when I install that it just seems to destroy the dialog file. (Random dialog strings appear in the Strategems difficulty menu in-game) Clearly I'm in error as to how to install this... Could anyone tell me the correct methodology please?
  3. I was thinking about a new EET run when BGEE version 2.5 is released (hopefully this week). But then I started wondering if it would make any difference. Doesn't EET run on the BG2EE engine, which already has the 2.5 version patch? Is there any practical benefit to my waiting or can I just dive right in? Also, thank you for making EET. I can't begin to praise it enough... It's simply superb.
  4. It's talk like this that gets our mods delayed! ;-) Repeat after me: "There is no real life, there is only Zuul." Wait, no, I meant "Balder's Gate," not Zuul.
  5. The spell I'm most looking forward to in SR V4 is Mordenkainen's Force Missiles, since there aren't any 4th level attack spells that I really like. (Ice Storm has just never enthralled me, even in PnP days.) I've found a temporary fix by installing just that spell from SpellPack Beta 6 from Blackwyrm Lair. Nice icon and it seems to work well if I install it post-SR. Not sure what else SpellPack changes though, since it seems to do a lot for just that one spell install...
  6. I had promised myself to wait until SR v4 before starting a fresh game, but I've failed my saving throw. Time to start a fresh game! Though since you just sent in 3.1, I suppose I can spend a few more days picking mods to install. How long does it usually take to be downloadable from the main page? I also just wanted to thank you for all your work modding this game... You and the other modders taken a beautiful gem and managed to polish it into being even more amazing. I think back on my giddy delight when I beta'd Baldur's Gate back in mid 1998 (I still have the discs that Ray Muzyka burned off for me!) and now I don't think I'd ever devolve back to playing it unmodded for anything.
