Custom install options?

I'm looking to install the game again after a long hiatus, and I'm wondering if it's possible to:

 

1) skip upgrading Faldorn: I prefer the vanilla behavior where an unrecruited Cernd can defeat Faldorn, but the last time I played SCSv30, Faldorn would easily beat him. Is there a way to edit SCS before installing so it skips upgrading her?

 

2) have Fallen Planetars count as an HLA: last time I played SCSv30, liches in the Umar temple would summon Fallen Planetars even though I set enemy HLAs to be ToB only. I'm inferring that SCS doesn't count Planetars as an HLA for enemies (?). I'd like to have enemy Planetars, but only when I get to ToB. Is there a way to do this?
