Thank you very much for making this mod!

 

Theres a general opinion amongst modders that there are 'plenty' of romance mods, but this is relativly false to someone who has played them all (duh ) and is looking for something new. Well ok theres plenty of 'straight' romances. What I want to say is thanks to you there was something (or someone) to do do when I decided to check out the modding again.

 

Thats not to say that there arn't plenty of mods started for bisexual/gay characters.. far from it theres a fair number of them. But they seem to be left incomplete. So in light of this my appreciation is even greater ^^

Thank you very much for your words. Surprisingly enough, Sarah was an impulse project I did last summer that I did not think would be as well received as it has, so thanks for that.

 

I'm really wanting to get ToB out...it's fully playable but lacks voicing (except soundsets of course). Soon though, I hope. Very soon.

The mod may not be as complicated or have as long a list of features as some, but Sarah's character is appealing and is quite likeable. (She's trustworthy. For instance, I had her carry the bag of holding in my last playthrough, and she managed the party's inventory very well. ) That goes a long way, I think.

Hahah, yeah I considered doing 23 romance paths and 18 friendship paths with 9800 interjections, 13 banters per NPC, and a Tree of Life dialogue that took 4 hours to get through....but then I decided not to.

I can only agree: This is an outstanding mod. So... any news on the ToB part?

Basically whatever is posted in the progress thread is the current situation. We're pretty much just waiting on voicing and for me to get off my lazy butt and write some Bioware NPC banters. Other than that, it's done.

I just need to sit and record the lines and implement them. I am also waiting for the voicer for Sarah's mother to give me her recordings too.

Yeah, that mod is really nice. Gives a lot of room for imagination (well, you don't have to hear everything that your PC and Sarah talk about, yeah? Give the pixels some privacy! ) is not overly - dramatic and, most of all, Sarah is a type of NPC you would like to know in the real world (does not call you 'iblith', does not require you to polymorph into herr Freud and cure her trauma, and, most importantly, does not start talks with a 'prithee, my lady'). BTW, great voicing, really suits her.

Since I'm one of those who considers romance to be an afterthought in most games (mostly the reward at the end), I can never get enough romance mods. And Sarah is a great supportive character, who besides her backstory, finally gives me a reason to purchase a decent longbow. Sure, I've put Minsc with one, but Sarah outclasses him easily.

 

Very much looking forward to ToB.

Hi theacefes, the release of the ToB part of your beautiful mod is a very nice christmas present for the community. Thank you very much for this, and for your other mods as well.

 

It's not nice that so few people bother to give any feedback (even on this forum without a tedious need for registration), but I'm sure a lot of people appreciate your work as well. BG2 ist still one of the best games ever made, but it's only thanks to people like you that it's still far away from ever getting boring.
