K Storm
I have the Baldur's Gate II through the DnD Master Collection, and after downloading and doing the extraction, I read that, since I have Windows 7, the tweak pack won't work if it's in the Program Files. I tried just moving it, but of course that didn't work, so I'm trying to reinstall the game, but the Anthology won't let me move the game to a different folder on install. I tried moving the game to the Local Disc, then doing the Setup and moving it back, but that didn't work, of course. Link to comment
Mike1072
If you move the game folder after installation, make sure to also open baldur.ini and update the paths to match the new location. Link to comment
Jarno Mikkola
I ...p and moving it back, but that didn't work, of course. The reason this won't work is the reason the folder is like this in the first place. To protect your folder. Why ? Because if you allow changes to the folder, viruses can alter them too and you have no way to protect from them. The proper way to is to install on to another drive, or use the valid user allowed to change specific folder; C:\Users\-name-\Games\Gamename\ If the DnD Master Collection won't allow you to install to another folder, you should "Just flip the disk to a stream".. K Storm
I was having trouble with reinstalling the game to a different folder, I managed to get it to install to a different location (Just right on the C Drive, instead of in Program Files), and the mods still won't work - I purposely picked out the "Change Jaheira's alignment" tweak just to have an immediately observable change on an existing save. Does it not work on previous saves? Link to comment

Does it not work on previous saves? It will not work on a save (I understand that the save is in Irenicus dungeon at BGII start and the Jaheira in cage). The Jaheira in your save was already created from the files before your new install, thus it is the *old* creature. To see the change in effect you need to either start a new game or ctrl+y Jaheira and then CreateCreature("Jaheir7") (provided it worked with your new install). Link to comment

Does it not work on previous saves?I am not entirely sure the C works... as you need to at least in Windows 10, install the game to your profile files in the C drive, Cause the Windows is cleverTM as said, to protect the operation system, it writes the changes to the profile files... C:\Users\-username-\AppData\Roaming\-application folder-\ ... the AppData -folder is hidden, so to access it, you need to change the folder options properties to see it. The weidu changes won't exist in the game as it was programmed in 2001, while this protection system has existed only for few last years, somewhere from Windows 7 onwards. And was update to the Windows XP, Vista, too. @Roxanne, it's not save in this case. Link to comment
Roxanne
Just right on the C Drive, instead of in Program Files Exactly This is windows 10 64bit version No issues ever with mods or access rights or such stuff on the green ones. Link to comment
