Ooo... I love good looking guy.

Look at these real Kozakura guys (in historical film).

(Pardon my poor English, because of I'm a Kara-tur girl.)

Sakaguchi Taku (in Sinobi)

Amaurea's portrait wins for me as it seems to be the "Most BG2-esque". Not that the others ain't cool, but Amaurea's actually LOOKS like a BG2 portrait. If you see what I mean.

Oooooh, I love Taboo! I had the chills for hours after watching it. It has to tie with this one for my favorite samurai film of all time.

I like the Asano Tadanobu here for Angelo, although he'd look a bit older. The Matusda Ryuhei looks more like Sawara (if you added in the white hair...)

Thanks, madhatter!

So, I made new one. :D

This is my Angelo.

He is "Sirota Yuu" (actor) who has a Spanish mother and a Japanese father.

:) Looks great!--although again, a bit on the young side.

(This does get me wondering what ethnicity Sembia "corresponds" to...perhaps none specifically. I think I heard somewhere that Tethyr was based on Medieval Spain. Back when I was writing Fury, I seemed to be laboring under the delusion that Sembia was supposed to be India; of which I was certainly disabused by the time I started A.NPC...)

I'd say about 25 years too young. Although he is HOT. :)

I think we can largely ignore ethnicities in the BG universe, it's full of inconsistencies. Rasheman berserkers are supposed to be large, hairy and bear-like, yet Minsc is bald and beardless with a tattooed head. Thayans are supposed to be bald and tattooed and then we have Edwin... And as for Sarevok, his portrait is sort of ethnic, yet if you look at the original renders (and his sprite in BG) then his arms are most definitely white. Perhaps all that roasting in hell gave him a tan...

I think the only thing they've really stuck with is Kara Turans.

Thanks madhatter! Remember, though, that Angelo is 1/2 Sembian, 1/2 Kozakuran

Don't take this the wrong way, because he's cute and all, but that guy looks about 12 ??? Somewhat closer to Sarelith's (Stabby stabby hate hate kill) age than Angelo's.

My FR Campaign guide suggests Sembia is pretty much mediterranian. Spanish doesn't seem such a bad interpretation. Italian, maybe?

Mmm... half italian half japanese. I could live with that ^_^

This actually was more or less the assumption I went forward under, which is where Angelo's "bored" line comes from.

Strangely enough, I met a half-Italian, half-Japanese guy in Japan. He'd switch fluently between three languages (English the third), it was almost spooky...

Ohhh I get it now! That's brilliant

Italian explains a lot about his general behaviour towards women as well. Never mind being brought up in a brothel :)

I have a Taiwanese-Austrian friend who does that. It's probably a bonus I understand German or I'd never understand anything she says.
