Guest someguy
Hey all, I was wondering if there was a mod out there (or if there isn't, how something like this would be done) where unchecking "heal party on rest" in the IWD:HOW config actually works. Checked or unchecked my party still rests until healed. I know it's just a cosmetic thing but it bugs me when they rest for a month in the middle of a dungeon when all I wanted was a quick 8 hours so I could recharge my mage spells. ?? Link to comment
-JR-
I believe if you use the rest button from any screen other than the main game screen (inventory, options, etc) it allows you either "rest for 8 hours" or "rest until healed" options. It bugs me too when the game tries to tell me that the party has been sitting there for a month, when they're supposedly on a critically timed quest. I try not to get too OCD about it, but it's nice for me to see that the game was completed in a believable number of days. I believe one of Alora's BG1 NPC Project dialogues, "it's always summer here," was meant as a breach of the fourth wall, at the expense of the unchanging seasons despite the player's ability to rapidly pass time. Guest someguy
lol I never knew you got that "Rest, Rest Until Healed, Cancel" screen if you pressed the rest button while in one of the menus. Thanks!! Too bad whenever you sleep at an Inn you can only rest until healed. Link to comment
-JR-
Ohh yes, it's all coming back to me now. I remember resting outside because of that inn thing too. Hah, didn't know there was anyone as obsessive as me out there. Glad to help though. Link to comment
