Treat mages' and priests' High-Level Abilities as innate abilities rather than memorisable spells (each may be taken only once) (Sword Coast Stratagems) was not installed due to errors.

One small thing that could be either classed as a bug or as a documentation error I ran across when I was doing various tests for my own install the readme states that

If you install "Tougher Sendai" from Oversight then SCS will still work, but the SCS improvements to Sendai (in the Smarter Mages / Smarter Priests component) will be skipped in favour of the Oversight ones. Pick which one you want.

but when I tried to install both, the Oversight changes got overwritten by the Smarter Mages / Smarter Priests component. If you decide its not worth the trouble to update the code to readd the compatability I'll understand but in that case the documentation then needs updating instead.

I don't really know if this is a bug or a feature. This block in Shade Lord's script:

IF
Killed([ANYONE])
THEN
RESPONSE #100
SetInterrupt(FALSE)
ReallyForceSpell(LastTrigger,MAKE_SHADOW)
SetInterrupt(TRUE)
END
This returns true even for summons apperantly. Meaning, if a summon dies; which is very likely to happen, a (N)PC will blow up into a shadow. Is this intended?

Yeah, the thing there is, the [ANYONE] and LastTrigger don't always return as the same, if ever, the dead creature is supposed to be made into the shadow-clone.

1) Enemy scripts sometimes fail to start or something. Some enemies just stand there doing nothing. e.g. Perth the Adept just stood there without going hostile until I whacked him once. Then his script started. Another example, the summons of the vampires who attack in Brynnlaw just stood there without attacking.

2) The HLAs-as-innate-abilities component does not work. I pick HLA's but don't get any innate abilities. (Playing a dual berserker/mage). I did start the character as a barbarian/mage using the improved dual class options component of the tweak pack... then I changed him to berserker in SK. maybe that fudged things?

2) The HLAs-as-innate-abilities component does not work. I pick HLA's but don't get any innate abilities. (Playing a dual berserker/mage). I did start the character as a barbarian/mage using the improved dual class options component of the tweak pack... then I changed him to berserker in SK. maybe that fudged things?

It works. They're not under "innates" button, but listed under "spells" tab. You shouldn't get any innates.

Minor quibble perhaps, but with the 'Replace many +1 magical weapons with Fine ones -> Fine weapons are immune to the iron crisis' component installed, it looks like 'Excellent' long bows have a +1 bonus to damage when the standard +1 versions do not, making it identical as far as stats to Excellent Composite long bows (other than not requiring 18 STR and being 50 gp cheaper in spite of greater utility as a result of not requiring 18STR). Aside from variance from the original versions, it seems like it contradicts the whole idea that the composite version does more damage due to greater pull/requiring greater STR.

[edit, I suppose if the excellent versions of +1 weapons are by design intended to retain the +1 to damage (it seems they are), it's really the other way around, excellent compound longbows missing an additional +1 to dmg rather than excellent longbows getting an extra +1]

I'm also experiencing fine/excellent weapons breaking during iron crisis even though the above is installed, though that may be due to my installing this particular component quite later on, apart from the rest of SCS components.

This is a repost from a seperate topic "Weird Silke Encounter". I repost it here to make sure it will be seen.

"Finally got around to play BG1 again and experienced the same "bug" with Silke. She uses contingency during the encounter, which she should not have access to."

For the benefit of those not following the "Weird Silke Encounter" thread, the issue is due to an "un-nerfed" bard spell table, one that grants bards access to 7th+ level spells (such as those available in BG2 Tweaks or RR).

I've posted a fix for the macro to make it determine the maximum bard spell level from mxsplbrd.2da rather than assuming it to be 6th. You can check it out here: http://gibberlings3.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=27175&p=234602

There is a bug in priest scripts. Some lower-leveled ones in BG2 (level 10 and such) have Finger of Death casting. Not cool.

That's nasty.

If MadMate is still around perhaps he can do something about it and share. :)

Not sure if Spellcasting Demilichs is working as intended. Just fought the Demilich in Watcher's Keep. He used Trap the Soul lots but it didn't cause level drain on a save. Plus while he summoned Planetars, he didn't drop Comets or Dragon's Breaths on my head. As I recall, it was the same for Kangnaxx the Demilich. I took a look at their Spellbooks in Near Infinity and confirmed that Summon Planetar is the only HLA in their spellbooks. But from what I've read of other people's experiences, the Demlichs they fought did use Comet and Dragon's Breath.

I'm also having install trouble. For Tutu, SCS can't install its component "Initialise mod", saying:

ERROR: Failure("IPLOT01K.ITM: read out of bounds ("GET_OFFSET_ARRAY")")

I'd happily install the version of SCS1 the preceded the SCS1-SCS2 unification if it were still available for download! As it is I'm stuck.

edit: it's EasyTutu, btw.

edit2: I got it to work by deleting IPLOT01K.ITM, IPLOT04G.ITM, IPLOT04H.ITM, IPLOT04I.ITM from the Override folder (it must be the same issue here?).
