Create new bams

I work with bamworkshop these days and I've seen that a bam file is divided in several sequences. So my question is the following : Is it possible to create a bam from other format as gif and vice_versa ?

Sure, but I don't know if the tools make this any easier.

Yes but you have to use BAMWorkshop since a plug-in for Photoshop has never been made. I have made a number of BAMs from scratch but that was several years ago and I have not used this tool since.

BAM Batcher can convert BMPs into BAMs and vice versa.

Ok thanks you very much. Indeed, bam batcher is helpful. Besides I've seen that infinity explorer can export directly bam to gif....

I use BAM Batcher to mass-export to BMPs and then Paint Shop Pro to mass export those to GIFs. I didn't bother with a one-step option in BAM Batcher (BAM to GIF) because, well for one thing, GIFs use a fairly complex compression algorithm that isn't exactly open source (or maybe it is now, but I don't think BMPs could be encoded as GIFs with native WeiDU commands anyway).

 

Edit: BAM Workshop 1 will import animated GIF sequences too, and I believe export them as well.
