BGQE v9 Bug Thread

Recommended Posts

Linda's quest in Candlekeep.

I noticed that some times I get the reputation, while others I don't. I can't seem to find a pattern. IS there something I'm missing?

The same for the neckalce quest. Sometimes giving it to the child nets you reputation, while others it doesn't.

Hm, I think I heared that before (rep increase was displayed in the window but the rep points didn't actually change) but I am clueless what to do - or, to phrase it differently: I don't think it's a mod bug, as the code is fine and it worked so far. Am I rightly assuming that you are playing with BG:EE?

I asked because the head isn't acknowledged in my game by the guy in the temple near Beregost, nor I'm able to sell it. So... I said, is it totally useless?

IF you need to add it for consistency purpose (After all, a vivern has to drop that head!) , let the guard have it :p

I can't install the mod on my mac os. I have a fatal error during the installation:

This is a non-stable version. Unless you're sure about what you're doing, consider downgrading.

It's a problem of my mac? there's a solution?

Thank you!

Which version are you playing (I assume it's v9, but I cannot see it from the error log), and in which game (bg1, Tutu, bgt, BG:EE)?

I can only test on windows, but I didn't have an error on any of the games, so I am confused.

It's in BG:EE on Mac os Yosemithe and it's version 9.

I have installed others mods (Weapons, Armors and Dark Horizons) and I never had a problem or issue...

It seems to be a Syntax Error, but I can't understand why...

I noticed that Arfaroth appears to be using WeiDU 231.07. That might be the problem. I didn't think a version of WeiDU that old was bundled with the mod, so I downloaded a fresh copy of the OSX version of bgqe. The mod is packaged with WeiDU v236, but it's named 'setup-bg1re'. The .command file is also for bg1re. I've confirmed the bgqe installs fine on OSX Yosemite with an up-to-date version of WeiDU (works for either v236 or v237).

Arfaroth, here's a copy of WeiDU v237 named setup-bgqe. Just trash the old version of setup-bgqe currently in the Resources folder, download the new version, unzip the archive, and copy the setup-bgqe file into the Resources folder. Then try installing again.
