Juan Carpo Posted April 7, 2014 Share Posted April 7, 2014 Hi guys, It's me again. After running an old version of GemRB (on Google play),I decided my luck with the latest version of GemRB (Android). After downloading and installing it, I open it. However I get a black screen and then I return to the homescreen. There is no installation of the files on appdata. Alogcat didnt give any information. Now I have been looking at the forum, but I didnt find my answer. Can anyone help me or perhaps I should write to the developer? It seems I dont have alot of luck with GemRB.. Or perhaps I need a certain technical skill. Link to comment
Avenger Posted April 7, 2014 Share Posted April 7, 2014 Well, the Android version would need an actual developer. The old version is very aged. Your best bet is finding someone who can actually create Android apps and point them in the direction of GemRB. Link to comment

If i download the BG demo it runs np. but when i transfer my own game, it will not run, it loads goes black then closes out. ive followed 2 different guides to get it running and nothing has worked so far. any ideas? lynx Posted April 17, 2014 Share Posted April 17, 2014 Yes, but you either made a mistake editing the config or pasting it up there. IWD2 support is limited. I don't remember how old the last android build is, so it may be anything from unplayable to playable Prologue. Link to comment

I don't remember how old the last android build is, so it may be anything from unplayable to playable Prologue. yeah ive tried BG1 and BG2 and same thing, im just not smart enough to get it working. even downloaded the GOG version thinking it was easier and no luck. so sad wanting to play these at work when it was slow *edit* okay i erased everything to restart it over from scratch, and now 0.8.0 wont work. it just says fatal error, but it was working fine 30 minutes ago before i uninstalled. so now im running 0.7.2 and transfering BG2(GoG this time) with tweaks installed and widescreen mod configured, as i type this so lets see if i have any better luck. **edit** got it working ^^ thanks for the help now to try icewind dale 1, since i think i read its fully playable Link to comment
