Seven-Eyes bug

29 June 2018 - 12:15 AM

Found a bug in the Seven-Eyes spell; the eye abilities don't get removed when the spell ends.  In my game, Aerie now has more than ten of each! :-)

D0Tweak v24 available, includes support for SoD

04 April 2018 - 01:40 PM

V24 of SimDing0's Tweak Pack is now available on GitHub. Biggest change is that the mod should now work on BG1EE/Siege of Dragonspear. Visual Ioun Stones now covers two ioun stones added by SoD (Trollblood Ioun Stone [bdioun01] and Blood Red Ioun Stone [bdioun02]), and Sensible Lore now takes shamans into account (they get the same lore as sorcerers).

I also further tweaked the code in places. Most specifically, Enhanced Goodberries now patches the existing item and spell instead of copying in new ones, which should make it more compatible.

I also created myself a Linux version of the G3 ModPackaging tool (pull request has been sent), so archives for Windows, OSX and Linux can now also be downloaded from GitHub. The download page is here:

EDIT: The self-extracting archive for Windows did not work, replaced it with a .zip file.

Dynaheir and Minsc gone - now what?

08 July 2017 - 12:47 AM

So I'm playing Baldur's Gate Trilogy with the BG1NPC project, and my paladin is getting along well with Dynaheir.  They talk for a bit when suddenly Winski teleports in and summons a bunch of imps (which my level 5 party had a *very* hard time beating) and Dynaheir and Minsc are teleported away!

There's no indication of where they have gone, no clues, not even a journal entry.  So what now?  Obviously my paladin would want to save them, but I have no clue how.  Is it even possible?  Or are two of my favorite party members (and all their good gear!) gone for the rest of the game?  The latter would really suck and likely cause me to never play with BG1NPC ever again.

Download link does not work

No matter what I try, it drops me to Dropbox's login page.

Incorrect # of skins from Stoneskin spell at level 7

08 June 2017 - 11:52 PM

The Stoneskin spell gives an incorrect number of skins to a 7th level caster.  According to the description they should get only three, but they actually get five, more than an 8th level caster who correctly gets four.

Suggested fix:

COPY_EXISTING ~spwi408.spl~ ~override~
              ~spin694.spl~ ~override~
    header              = 0
    multi_match         = 1
    match_opcode        = 218   // Protection: Stoneskin
    parameter1          = 3
