Based on http://www.gibberlin...re_clerics.html I quickly put together a very crude and simple list, organized by deity and by influence (spheres).

There is some info missing, I marked them in amber. I will update the file later if I find information.

If someone wants to do a power analysis of the specialty priests, the list of spells per sphere will be needed.

 

Edit: I have updated the table, checked Faiths and Avatars. Red cells are corrections, yellow are suggestions to replace missing info.

Thanks for your effort to keep this mod alive Cam, I really appreciate you came back to this after a several year break. I'm also very touched that you included spells from SpellPack. Was thinking of writing some automatic "sphere recognition" code that reads spell descriptions and then assigns spells to spheres to future-proof spell mods but your way works just as well. When I released SpellPack B6 I did not have the installer write a centralized spell 2da list with spheres for DR to detect even though the I had that in mind and set variables at the start of each divine spell. I was unsure about DR's future at that time; I could still offer to make a centralized list for the next release of SpellPack so you don't have to write a new list each time I release something (admittedly it wasn't often the past few years).

About the mod itself: I think it's a really good idea to have a "lite" version of each kit as without new spells from mods your access to decent spells is limited. The inclusion of new spells from spell mods can make the "Sphere" version of the kits appealing and will put more effort into my own work with DR in mind.

Yeah, I would love to see some new spells added one way or another.  I really like the idea of the sphere system, but it makes some kits almost untenable.

I really think, that the second ability (without the sphere system) should be class specific. It would be more balanced when compared with the original trio. Holy Strategist could use a specific party boost ability (throw away the second attack). And give him Glyph of Warding, Slow, Defensive Harmony or Chaotic Commands instead of the Haste. Haste casted two times = fatigue (and rest afterwards). So no need for more than two (ever). 

 

The same goes for the Battleguard of Tempus. Skip the weapon specialization. It would make him too strong (compared with the original trio). Rage makes sense more or less. But some kind of an offensive party boost would be even better (party rage lite? :)) or a magical mace ability (confusion on hit?)...

 

I have no idea what to use on Feywarden of Corellon instead of the weapon and fighting style specialization though. A magical longsword with a dispell on hit would make sense again. Or a passive hold and stun immunity.

 

I will try to make the Czech translation in the coming months btw.

 

P. S. This is the second ability that the priest of Tempus has in IWD: EE:

May cast Chaos of Battle once per day. Gains one use at level 1 and an 
additional use every 10 levels thereafter.
CHAOS OF BATTLE: Chaos of Battle applies bonuses to all 
allies and penalties to all enemies within a 60-ft. radius of the 
caster. The spell lasts 1 turn and will randomly affect the 
targets’ Armor Class, Hit Points, THAC0, saves, or luck. The 
magnitude of the effect starts at 1 (5 for Hit Points) at level 1 
and will improve by 1 (5 for Hit Points) every 6 levels of the 
caster.

I have no idea what to use on Feywarden of Corellon instead of the weapon and fighting style specialization though. A magical longsword with a dispell on hit would make sense again. Or a passive hold and stun immunity.


This made me think about the whole concept of spiritual weapons. Check out my thread on them, I'd be curious to know what you think.

Well give it a good (useful) ability on hit and it does not matter, if the enchantment progress stops at +2. ;)

Alright, thanks for giving it a shot. I'll see what I can do to replicate the problem.

 

I have run into the same problem. I install Divine Remix and can't start any new game (SOA/TOB/Black Pits.) If I uninstall the mod, I can start a new game.

 

With Divine Remix installed, I can load a save game that I made after installing BG2EE but before applying any mods and appears to be working but can't tell

if the other mods are working since most require a new game to start.

 

I did happened to notice that when installing the latest Quest Pack V3 (After Devine Remix), I was receiving an error when installing the "Additional Shadow Thieves Content". The error was

that the MVPRIES.CRE had an invalid sub string. Not sure if that is the problem since I replaced the MVPRIES file with the unedited one and was able to install the shadow thieves but still run into

the crash on new game.

 

So that might be two problems :(

In divine_remix.tra, there are two stings for @10133:

After witnessing the eyeless priest's speech, I was approached by a cleric of Lathander who bade me to come to the temple of Lathander to speak with him further regarding performing a service for the temple and investigating this new cult. He also mentioned we could help the Helm temple.~

I'm experiencing a CTD on starting a new game on my BGT installation after installing DR, perhaps the same issue Szabtom and Bulldog5769 are having?  Without DR, it works fine.  I have several mods installed, including ToBex, UB, Quest Pack, Infinity Animations, IWDification and others.  A save game at the start of Chateau Irenicus also crashes in the same way.

 

The ToBex log gives me this error upon the crash:

Upon further testing, the problem seems to be in the Sphere system component; without it I can start new games just fine even if all other kits and revisions from DR are installed.  From the error message, my guess is that the sphere system corrupts the spell lists in creature files.  This is confirmed by DLTCEP, which can no longer read jaheir7.cre after the sphere component is installed, which would also explain the crash I experienced at Chateau Irenicus since Jaheira is in that room.

I investigated a little further, and I think I found the problem that corrupts spell books.

 

In function cd_spellbook_wrapup, you refer to the variable sb_delta that is previously used in function cd_spellbook.  However, since both of these are functions, sb_delta is out of scope for cd_spellbook_wrapup and will always be zero when tested, and thus cd_spellbook_wrapup will never actually do anything.

 

A little excerpt from my install log after I added a few obvious debugging statements:

Hi, I would like to report what seems to be a bug on my end when using this mod. 

 

I created a character with the Lorekeeper of Oghma kit, but the character does not gain the Secret Word innate ability. Instead, a Secret Word is cast on the character as soon as the game begins.

I ran into an odd bug with Divine Remix today. I just picked up Viconia and instead of having her Shar kit, she has the Holy Strategist kit.

Also, I cannot install the sphere part without causing a CTD when I try to load the game, but looking at other posts that seems to be kind of common.

Any clue what happened there?
