Keli Joining Dialogue Begin Join_1 Keli: Excuse me, but I wonder if I might prevail upon you to assist me. You see, I was to meet my sister in the Docks, but I’m afraid I’m quite lost. I came here to see if I could get help from members of Selûne’s temple, but there doesn’t seem to be one here. 1. I am rather new to Athkatla myself, but I would be pleased to help you however I can. My name is <CHARNAME>. Join_2 2. I’ve got no time to help little girls that can’t help themselves. Join_3 3. I’m sorry, but I can’t assist you at the moment. Maybe later. Join_4 (Join_2) I am Keli and it is a pleasure to meet you. I am truly embarrassed to be so lost. As a Silverstar, we wander around as the spirit moves us, in order to help those that need assistance. 1. A Silverstar? What is that? Join_5 2. Ah, well, it happens to the best of us. Join_6 3. We also seek to end slavery and build harmony among lycanthropes and non shapechangers. My sister and I have been traveling around so that she can do whatever it is she does best and I can assist others as best I can. She wanted to follow one of her schemes that I wasn’t too crazy about. We decided to go our separate ways for a while and meet here in Athkatla. 1. Lycanthropes? You mean werewolves? Join_7 2. There’s much training required of a Silverstar, so I spent a lot of time at the temple. Would you mind terribly showing me to the docks? 1. I’d be pleased to have you join us. [end] (Join_3) I’m perfectly capable of helping myself. It’s just that I’m unfamiliar with this city and was hoping for directions. PC: Well, I’m no tour guide and I’ve no time for this. Keli: Aren’t you <CHARNAME>? If so, then you’re hardly the champion that I’ve heard about. PC: You know nothing of me. And I grow tired of having to help every single waif that comes along. Keli: Well, you don’t have to be so rude. I was simply asking if you could help me – point me in the right direction. PC: Well, the docks are that way. Keli: Thank you. Now see, that wasn’t so hard was it? [end] (Join_4) Very well, I shall be here for a while. But I simply must find my sister. [end] When the PC Returns Begin Join_15 Keli: I’m glad to see you again. Have you changed your mind about helping me find my sister? 1. Yes, join with me and we’ll find her. What’s her name? Join_11 2. No. I’ve still got a few things to do. Join_4 3. You again? No, I’ll not be helping a bleeding heart! Join_11 If the PC Meets Inara First Begin Join_16 Keli: Aah… Please help me! I was trying to teach these slavers they should find another career. I seem to have gotten overwhelmed. Inara: You what? Again? (Inara sighs lightly.) I suppose some could be impressed by your determination... Keli: Inara? By Selûne’s light, am I glad to see you. I came here to find a temple of Selûne and I ran into these guys and… Inara: Instead of meeting me at the docks as we had planned? Keli: I know. But I got lost. Um, do you think we could talk about this later? These guys are… Inara: Yes, I'm well aware. They're not happy that another cleric has come rampaging in preaching the good life, and now you need a hand to deal with their unexpected reaction. <CHARNAME>, would you be willing to give me a hand for my sister? 1. Sure, why not. Join_17 2. Of course, I don’t care for slavers either. Join_17 3. This little twit is your sister? I think I’ll pass. Join_18 (Join_17) Keli: We’ll chat later – and thanks! Inara, you’re not going to leave me as well, are you? Inara: (Inara looks from <CHARNAME> to her sister, curses and shakes her head.) I've put up with you this long, haven't I? (She turns a glare on <CHARNAME>.) I must say, I'm disappointed. Ah well... Have fun stumbling about in the dark. Keli, let's have at these blighters! [end] (apply blindness to <CHARNAME>) [exit] After the Fight Begin Join_19 Keli: I appreciate your help. I’m Keli, a Silverstar of Selûne and we’ve been trained to eradicate slavery whenever we can. I’m glad to know… Inara: Gods, it's not two minutes since we meet up again and already you're back on the high-and-mighty attitude. Give it a rest, Kel. Keli: Excuse me, I wasn’t talking to you. I was introducing myself to your new companion. Inara: Indeed, I noticed. With all the pomp, it's hard not to. You're my sister, though - I'm used to the stodgy attitude. Let's hope <CHARNAME> is one to appreciate...earnestness. Keli: Well let’s let <PRO_HIMHER> be the judge of that, shall we? As I said, my name’s Keli. 1. It’s nice to meet you. I’m <CHARNAME>. It’s why I was fighting those… those… filthy slavers! The only thing that would have made it worse is if they had been followers of Shar. But since they’re dead now, I guess we’ll never know. 1. Join_26 (Join_24)As I said, Silverstars oppose followers of Shar. Selûne and Shar had a great battle which nearly destroyed Selûne. Shar is still looking for ways to destroy Selûne, and the more of Shar’s followers we can, well, get rid of, the weaker she will become. 1. Interesting, you’ll have to tell me more of this later.
