Romances in BG1

BG1NPC team ran 4 polls in September 2003-July 2004 and asked what NPC's players would like to romance; The polls were very freestyle, and becaus of the # polling options limited to 10, we could not have all the chars listed in the same poll, so they were subdivided so the results are not really unbias (depend in which group NPC was listed etc.

 

But here is a brief summary:

 

1) 185 votes were cast in female NPC polls and 163 votes were cast in male NPC poll... (it was allowable to vote twice)

1) Every one character out of 25 recieved at least one vote.

2) Khalid, Jaheira and Faldorn are the least appealing romantic optons in BG1 (from % standpoint)

3) Viconia and Kivan are the most popular romantic choices with Safana/Branwen and Xan being the most popular "second" choice.

Skie? She was the ditzy (and *very*_ naeive thief right?

Skie Silvershield was Eldoth's girlfriend whom you "saved" (abducted) from her father's estate. She is indeed a dreamer and a thief. Nalia is her spin-off in BG2.

Skie was more fun, even with virtually no dialog. IIRC a romance for her wasn't going to be done, right? Be a laugh though.
