I still haven't seen what happens if you are romancing Nalia at the same time. Must be scary. Then again, Lady de'Arnise trusts you.

Does she ever meet you in your chambers or is there any plans to add that? Was a great scene though! Didn't know what to expect from a 'random romantic encounters' addon and that was much better than I expected.

It's pretty random, yes: we've got eight authors in v2, and each has his or her writing style; the Readme has more information about the authorship of each encounter.

As for Chanelle encounter, I believe it's finished for the time being; at least, so far there haven't been any plans to expand it yet.

You know when the drunk and the idiot ask to marry her its a option to say

"you can do better Chanelle".

Before the steward even makes some insinuations about growing bellies. Wouldn't it be a great quest to find a worthy person for shall we say "In loco parentis". Then we could have hot goodbye sex and a heartwarming scene at the end of the romance.

Though nearly each encounter could have an additional mini-quest: find Ada's hairbrush, walk Guildmistress Busya's dogs, deliver some diplomatic mail for Lord Coprith, oversee some trade negotiations for Ribald - I am not sure they fit here. I mean, Romantic Encounters is about fun, not about headache or heartache, though you can get both if you try.

Optional content is always good! They are all nice but a little short and meaningless (yes I know thats the point) a little expansion could be good. Unless the feeling of 'ok we've had sex, beat it <Charname>' from most is intentional.

Yes and having a full romance that just involved someone special you always go back to would be nice, its already in as ribald but you'd have to rescue him or her in a complex quest in ToB, for example. Completly optional but if you refuse, your lover dies and your alignment can take a serios dip depending on how you justify it to yourself.

Like: "I never really loved him/her, she was just a great ****" - Selfish and Heartless. - Dip towards evil

"I couldn't risk myself in an obvious ambush, too many lives are at stake" - Neutral/Pragmatist, No alignment shift?

"It wasn't my fault he/she was killed" - Unwilling to accept that his/her connection with the innocent (or not so innocent) person was the reason they died. - Dip towards neutral

It depends. Some encounters do have this feeling(Bodhi, Coran or Eldoth come to mind), in others the parting has a different aftertaste, sometimes of a promise, sometimes of loss, sometimes of a night(or nights) well spent.

In any case, like I said, mundane/FedEx mini-quests will likely not be an option in Romantic Encounters, so you'd be better off looking for this content in jastey's Mini-quests and Encounters, Quest Pack, or another mod in the same vein.

Unless, of course, the romantic adventure is woven around a quest, like berelinde's Fading Promises, where a friendship-romance with a spirit develops around a "bring me a magical weapon A from Lich B" quest, or "kill person1, person2... person9, then return for the final quest, and MAYBE we'll have sex" in Assassinations, or Romantic Encounters' very own Desharik's "give me some, and you'll get passage to place S", or Gaelan Bayle's "Coo! Want to know where yer friend is, then? I may tell ye, if..." - there it makes sense.

Well it depends what you consider 'woven around', I don't consider the PC taking responsibility for someone who was put in danger by association to be a 'fedex', and it fits well with the 'bringing death to enemies and friends alike' aspect of being a bhaalspawn. Which isn't so well illustrated when all the PC's friends are quickly boosted in power to levels where Eliminster and Dragons would think twice about making a move.

Ribald's adventuring days are over. I don't think he'd get into danger somewhere outside of Athkatla/in the region ToB is set (I don't think he ever leaves the Mart :) ). I tried to write more banters for other characters (e.g. Mazzy, because she also knows Ribald) or more LTs, but I came to the conclusion that everything has been said between <Charname> and Ribald.

I know what you mean, though. There were some encounters I found a bit disappointing, because the NPC in question just behaved as if nothing had happened or it was just over and nothing came of it, although the NPC was still hanging around.

My favourite encounters ended with the NPC or <Charname> leaving forever, but with a promise or afterglow.
