Considering the SCS mage component allowing on option 5 : Mages use short-duration spells at the start of combat, but only if the difficulty is set to Hard or Insane.

I was wondering if it could be possible to made a component for remove the +50% and +100% damage of hard/insane difficulty mod. I think most of people playing with SCS are really not interested about +50% or + 100% damage.

just a idea :)

On EE you can already do that. Maybe with ToBEx too? I forget.

Faiths & Powers: Spell spheres and kit pack for priests and paladins
Might & Guile: Tweaks and kits for warriors and rogues
Scales of Balance: Game tweaks and rule overhauls
NPC_EE: More options for NPCs in BGEE, SoD, & BG2EE

Gameplay options, you can turn off both extra damage and extra XP (separately) on higher difficulty levels. With both options turned off, Hard and Insane become functionally equivalent to Core, except with extra spawns (sometimes).

Fixed that for you...

Gameplay -> options

In case you failed to read... DrAzTik was asking "HOW YOU DO THAT".

Not so funny fact is, that as the game uses the desktop video settings by default, the Graphical User Interface is really tiny without larger font sizes, and the other setting "Scale User Interface" that too is hidden in the very same menu(Options -> Graphics). I don't know when these were added, but they were in v2.3.'s already.

Welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand.
Here's how to install all the ... mods you ever really could want to Infinity Engine games. I removed the stable word from there as Roxanne began to add BS mods that are likely to break compatibility from the BWS.
