Sarah Bug Fix: MOD WILL NOT INSTALL WITHOUT

Okay guys, until I can get the newest and actually working version of Sarah uploaded to the G3 downloads...for those of you who have been wonderful and downloaded Sarah already, you probably found that it wouldn't install!

 

So, here's what you need to do.

 

1) Download the attachment I have here. Sarah_Fix_2.zip

 

 

2) Take the Setup-SarahSoA.tp2 and put it in your SarahSoA folder. It will ask you if you want to overwrite the file. Say yes.

 

3) Take the SarahAuren.d file and put it in the Dialogues folder in your SarahSoA folder.

 

4) Take the K#SarahB.d file and put it in the Dialogues folder in your SarahSoA folder.

 

5) Reinstall.

 

 

 

Please let me know if this works. Huge apologies for this everyone.

EDIT: New fix attached. Needed to alter the K#SarahB file as well. If you dont have Fix 2, download it now.

Just as a reminder; those who have Auren installed will not receive any failed install messages.

There will perhaps be the case of the readme file not loading after installation, but its so far confirmed to be harmless to the actual mod.

 

Message for failure to load the readme should be something like this:

 

Cannot find the file 'readme-sarah.html' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libaries are available

 

So far I've found no other install issues at this time.

The readme was my fault. I put an incorrect path to the readme in Sarah's tp2. It is fixed in this attachment.

 

But yeah once the new version is uploaded, things will be better.
