Domi
Kivan's original portrait is lovely and I am very glad to use it as the default, but for people who like to have a bit of a new look for their old characters I will be including Herd's custom alternative portrait for Kivan in the next version of the mod. So that you know what to expect and make your choice, here it is Quote Link to comment
Domi
I was playing with showing some ear on it. Better, worse, ambivalent? Quote Link to comment
ronin69hof
I dont think the ears look like they are really attached to his head. Its just my opinion tho. ronin Quote Link to comment
jester
'Showing some ear' is considered overly kinky in some Elven circles. Quote Link to comment
Domi
heh, well, we have had a girlie chat and 'twas decided that cute but not elven enough, so I tried my best in ear-showing. Seems I need to leave it to the professionals. Mebbe he is a long-hair, short-ear kind. Quote Link to comment
BigRob
If you could blend the skin tone a little more and fiddle with how they come out of the hair by blurring it a little, I think it would much improve.... but right now it does look wonky. Quote Link to comment
icelus
Mebbe he is a long-hair, short-ear kind. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I hear they're the kind to buy big, flashy sportscars to compensate. Quote Link to comment
Domi
Oh, grooovy. I think, I will put it aside for now, untill I have finished all of SoA. Quote Link to comment
Domi
Hi, Rabain, thank you. I think that the left ear will be behind the bowstaff kincky or no. The FR drawing seems to have the ear point of departure from the head at about the browline and the tip extends to about the hairline - I have the reference drawing attached to the 'blonde elf' thread Quote Link to comment
Andyr
Who's the model? The face looks familiar. A bit like the guy who played Steerpike in Gormenghast (which, incidentally, rocks). Quote Link to comment
icelus
Jonathan Rhys-Meyers or something like that, I think. Quote Link to comment
