Question about BG:EET installing custom items into game

Hi

So I have used the Big World installing tool and modded my game up a bit. I have EET installed and the game plays nicely. I have EE Keeper set up and can locate my saved game. I installed DLTCEP (v. 7.7) and have imported 3 custom items from Arundor's Abode into the game. They installed without error. I see them in my overide folder. I can select the items and give them to my character in EE Keeper. But.... when I load the save game - there is nothing in my inventory. I tried using the console C:CreateItem - but I get the message that they do not exist. Any ideas?

Are the DLTCEP & EEKeeper configued to be in the correct directory... other than that, do you have a Virus protection program that sandboxes the game directory ? If you do, you can't really play outside the sandbox.

And did you use the correct expression with the console .. aka go back and check, and try to copy the text you used in game to a post, and I'll can say if it's about correctly made.

DLTCEP is configured here: c:\users\XXXX\games\baldur's gate siege of dragonspear\data\00806\chitin.key

c:\users\XXXX\Games\Baldur's Gate Siege of Dragonspear\Data\00806\bgEEEffects.dat

EEKeeper is configured here: installation c:\users\XXXX\Games\Baldur's Gate Siege of Dragonspear\Data\00806\bgEEEffects.dat

save games C:\Users\XXXX\Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition Trilogy\save\

Turned off virus protection (Microsoft Security Essentials)

I can tweak other things (changed dexterity value and it showed up in game correctly)

But - still no items showing up in game inventory.

I use C:CreateItem("XXX")

I use C:CreateItem("XXX")

Try:

C:CreateItem("xxx",1,0,0)

And you have enabled the console ...

PS, these two:

"DLTCEP is configured here: c:\users\XXXX\games\baldur's gate siege of dragonspear\data\00806\chitin.key"

"EEKeeper is configured here: save games C:\Users\XXXX\Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition Trilogy\save\"

Would say that you are modifying different games files. If they do, you need to export the files and insert the exported files into the other games "override" folder or what have you, yes, it can actually be a various places...

The EET runs the game in the BG2EE game directory, or if you named it as "Enhanced Edition Trilogy" or what ever, but still, check that that's correct too.
