Why the exact install order ?

The Tactics and Solaufein(or an optional component of it, my memory is blurry as hell at the moment, if it has such) overwrite quite a much of the usual things... Tactics should be installed before the BG2Fixpack unless you install the BWP Fixpack on it before the install happens, as the .tp2 is reprogrammed to not not overwrite things but to patch.

PS:

~SETUP-OVERSIGHT.TP2~ #0 #0 // Tougher Sendai (ToB Required): 13

...

~BP/SETUP-BP.TP2~ #0 #2500 // Improved Sendai: v181-b4503

Well, you were given bad instructions as Ascension also overwrites... could you link to the instruction post ?

it was in polish so i think you couldn't understand http://athkatla.cob-...=4470&start=195

can you tell me the correct order of installation? i will reinstall the game once more also i would like to add planar sphere mod (i had it in previous reinstallation) he was just casting lot of fire storm and protections dunno maybe his script was just this lame but i think he should teleport a lot and be agressive and improved asylum mod (breudayael party) was bugged too he was indestructible for anything but ring of ram he did nothing at all but melee with staff?!

so could you tell me the correct installation of Fixpack

it was in polish so
That would spell out the reason why...

Darn the BiG World Project doesn't cover the Polish installs as such. But then you play with the English as the primary language of the mods so, you could use the BWSetup to install this all. Or you can try this order, it's what I came up with based on the BWP and other things, the BWP/S also have a patch/among others for the Tactics mod so the components won't overwrite the previous changes(this is an observation):

.

.

ToBEx, this mod helps with many things, and it's actually included in SCSII already, but it's best to install first.

Tactics, as with the Ascension mod, it can be substituted ... one primary example it the SCSII's "Make the starting dungeon slightly harder" component.

Ascension // this can also be substituted by installing the BP's Ascension component and various other mods like the BP's components and SCSII, the end result is not the exact same thing, but you might keep it in mind.

Oversight [Tougher Sendai (ToB Required)]? -component // this component is actually known to cause bad script behavior and thus it shouldn't be installed with the BP's similar component, so you need to choose one.

BG2 Fixpack

Planar Sphere mod

Improved Asylum

Solaufein // I erroneously though that this mod could do bad things, it shouldn't cause any problems

Oversight // do not install the Alignment Changes, nor the Improved Continuity or the Cleric kits -components

SCS II

aTweaks

BG2 Tweaks

Big Picture mod (the latest should be the BPv181-b4503 as you have it)

// The last 4 mods result to a little different ends if you install them in a different order, but the choice is all yours, and the BP came after the SCSII's last, so you should use it in that order.

// Also you might wish to install these:

Widescreen mod // you get to pick your exact resolution you wish to play the game

Generalized Biffing // this makes the game load far smoother, as if the moded game files were part of the original package, reducing lags and start time of the game

PS: There's at least a Polish SCSII v21 translation linked in this post from the from the same forum.

thanks! i will use it or try the bws

i don't care about polish versions as long as english works fine

but i have 1 question about ascension tactics nad BP

on polish forums this guy told me that BP is just newer version of tactics/ascension so i should not install tactisc/ascension and just choose parts from BP i think it looks logical to me was he wrong?

... was he wrong?
He was not wrong... and yes, the BP is the most updated version of the Ascension mod what comes to compatibility, but it also looses some parts from the fact that the SCSII seeks the original mod without trying to find the BP's similar component.

Like said, the last 4 mods are installed in one way or another and you get different results from them...

PS, the BWP/BWS is an impressive project and it has had some bad luck recently, as the BWS was not updated for 3 or so months, until very recently... and you might not end up well on the first try, so... don't loose hope !

And the BWP is a PDF giant with 300+ pages that covers 400+ mods you can choose from to install.

after statues are dead the real sendai joins the fun but

she is teleporting

she is casting constantly pfmw

she is not casting anything harmfull

video

around 11 minutes

tougher Sendai is not properly scripted, don't install it

moreover, is incompatible with BP

one and only mod that should be installed before fixpack is ascension.

tactics requires either baldurdash OR fixpack (installed before!) in order to work correctly.

BWS apparently is set up to install Oversight's Sendai component before BG2Fixpack... possibly because of Oversight's tendency to overwrite as opposed to append files

Ye.. and ?

The thing is, this topic is like from 2013. And if you have not learned it already, the BWS is not only about the install order, there's several things it does that improve the compatibility.
