MiniatureGiantSpaceHamster
Sorry, I'm not sure if this is the right place for this post. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get EAX audio working in Planescape: Torment - GOG.com version if it matters. I'm using an X-Fi card on Windows 10 but it should apply to Vista/7/8 too. In all other games that I've tried, EAX works great when I point Creative's ALchemy software at the game executable location. This lets you can enable EAX in the menus and all the effects work. Sounds great in Baldur's Gate Trilogy. But I can't seem to get it working in Planescape: Torment. ALchemy reports that it's "Using Native OpenAL Renderer" which indicates that it's being loaded correctly, but the option to enable EAX is still disabled in the game. Is there a mod or some other fix to get this working? Looking forward to playing this game for the first time, but I really want to get the audio working as originally intended before starting.
