(Unfortunately those of us playing on iPads cannot use EET :( )

To be precise: "(Unfortunately those of us who play on iPads and do not have access to a Windows computer cannot use EET :( )"

Wait wut? Do you actually have EET working on an iPad??

I mean I know you can use most adventure mods if you have a Windows install handy; but EET is a different beast. It involves an order of magnitude more files in /override, plus it does stuff like biffing resources. I have not been aware of anyone making it work on iOS... yet...

No, I don't have EET working on my iPad.

I just wanted to say that since adventure mods work if:

  1. you have a Windows computer to run the "famous" conversion tool provided by @Argent77
  2. there is no biffing

then installing EET should be possible if the 2 previous conditions are "met"...

In any case it's early to give it a try since BG:EE and BG2:EE are still on v2.4 (whereas SoD is on v2.5.13....)

I have a small "issue" with my current setup. I'm in the middle of BWS/BGT no-reload run, and even though it's BWS setup (so mods install order is 'proper'), both Kayardi and Lavok in the Planar Sphere summoned Nabassu instead of Death Knight with Summon Death Knight spell. Is there some easy way to fix this without reinstalling everything?

Another thing I've encountered - when I cast Banishment on Ogre Berserkers, summoned by Mage Thrall in the Planar Prison, it doesn't worked. Not a single creature was 'banished'. Not sure if that was an accident but still...

Nabassu - it's a SCS (or aTweaks) issue. If you have "improved demons" from any of these mods they will overwrite SR versions (kind of), albeit only for enemies (aTweaks will change them for you as well I think). SCS will use SR versions, but clerical level 7 Gate spell will not summon a Death Knight but a Pit Fiend instead (SR version of it, I can't say what will happen if aTweaks is added also). That's very unfair, since Pit Fiend is about 10x more powerful than DK and your cleric will never have access to it.

To fix it, you could use NInfinity (edit the spells that summon demons, you'll see ".eff file" use, change the creature summoned into what you deem fitting).

As per Ogre Berserkers, odd. I've checked their files, they're labeled as summoned, I've checked Banishment, all seems fine. I remember a long time ago Banishment allowed for a save but that was removed....

Yes, I guessed so, but this time I have not aTweaks' demons installed and while I do have SCS' Improved Fiends, after searching this forum I found Demi's note:

Doesn't it actually depend on the installation order? So if you install SCS2 first, you get SP's behavior, while if SP is first, one gets SCS2's behavior.
As the mages cast different spells, so the spell depends on which mod is installed last.

Not entirely true. The AI summoned fiends won't attack the AI even if SR is installed after SCS (which is highly against well established install recommendations). What would change is that if SR is installed later the AI will summon vanilla's Nabassus instead of Death Knights, as well as vanilla's Glabrezus and Pit Fiends (though SCS's scripts gives them most of their PnP special abilities).

So since I have a BWS setup and thus SR being installed -before- SCS, there should be Death Knights, not Nabassu...

And according to NearInfinity the creature summoned should be Death Knight but actually it doesn't work for some reason.

You're looking at the wrong spell. SCS uses it's own version, browse for "summon death knight" and check the one with DW# prefix. It has two different effs, one for lawful mages (Bone Fiend) and one for chaotic (Nabassu). That's the one you want to change.

Thanks! I'll try this. Actually, I didn't search for this spell with 'Find' but just opened Kayardi's or Lavok's CRE files and opened the spell from their memorized list.

Edit: Well, I've checked those DW# spells and, I think, I like the SCS' alignment based variety of summoned fiends more, so I'll stick with them. There is a remaining 'issue' that while summoned they shouldn't attack their summoners (from SCS readme: "This component also makes a substantial change to the way fiend-summoning magic works (this is one of the few places where SCS II breaks the rule that players and NPCs should be treated equally). I assume that enemy spellcasters (who, after all, have been learning high-level magic far longer than the party) summon demons with whom they have a pre-existing pact. These demons won't attack their summoner - and, crucially, will attack the party even if they are protected by Protection from Evil.") but in my case they actually attack their summoners if out of party visual range. But that's another story and, I presume, for different topic.

My flesh to stone and contagion spells do ignore improved invisibility targeting rules and go through no problems.

Is this a bug?

Ok i ve got a problem with SR v4beta14.

Antimagic attacks DO NOT penetrate invisibility. When i install SCS, it automatically skips this component as well because it says that "you have SR v3 or later installed" .

Which ones? Spell Thrust now has quite an AoE so you do not need to target creature directly (though in my experience it's better to do so nonetheless, as otherwise sometimes it doesn't work even if the target is caught in AoE). You can't target invisible creature directly with Secret Word, but as I've discovered searching this forum, this is intended behaviour (you need to cast Invisibility Purge/Detect Illusion/True Sight and then Secret Word).

Antimagic attacks DO NOT penetrate invisibility.

Do you know why this wasn't a problem in vanilla. Cause the higher level mages aka Liches were "immune to invisibility", cause they never bothered to cast spells they were "immune towards", so most weren't that big of a deal. But then entered the SCS AI that doesn't so much cheat as not respect the original rules where, when a creature is immune to a spell level, they are immune to the entire level, so they don't bother to cast those spells, even the protections spells of those levels. This also reduces the their attack power, but mostly... it just locks the player to the you need a level 8th spell to remove the level 9th spell protection(spell trap) so you can then remove the level 1-4 invisibility, so that you can then break that with a level 5th spell(true sight) and then another level 5 spell(breach) to be able to damage them in melee. Well the Simulacrum ...while you still have the actual lich is casting Time Stops, summoning Planetars and what else, that has the same protections, or worse, they got a contingency that reverts all that work back cause they took 1 point of hit point damage.

Or just have a 9th level mage spell and cast a Spell Strike that kills the lich cause iut has no defenses... well if it has no Simulacrum/projections etc clones.
