  1. Hey there - first of all thanks for the update! i'm having lots of fun with it again in my most recent no-reload challenge. It does have a few odd behaviours for me though, its nothing i can't solve with EEkeeper, but i wanted to share them with you. Maybe you know a workaround, maybe you know what i did wrong, or i just brought some new info to your attention.: 1) When choosing thief skills there's a few lines with abracabra instead of say find traps in there. 2) The mod gives ".cre:read out of bounds" errors on Safana, Eldoth, Faldorn and Minsc, resulting in not being able to edit them, and skips Tiax (and Rasaad) altogether. Didnt have any problems with BG2EE btw, worked like a charm there, but i died somewhere, and encountered these when going for my next run. Note that all i'm using on top of the most recent lvl1npcs from this thread is the Anthologies tweakpack v3 and the Item Randomiser v6.8 I could provide you with the weidu debug log if you'd like, but right now it doesnt really hold any useful info anymore. I could reproduce a clean one on a clean install if you like, just let me know.

Hey there again, Still enjoying your randomiser a lot, just stopping by to note another item i spotted thats not yet randomized: The Amulet of Cheetah Speed (Owned by Thelyn'ss in Sendais Enclave) is still in its old place. No problem of course, just trying to help this mod be the best of them all

Not really an issue, but this is some sort of suggestion for your next version of the readme: Its a bit of an odd thing i did, and probably due to my own mistakes, but recently i had to reinstall the item randomizer for my BG2 save game: Somehow i had managed to get the multiple stronghold component of the G3 fixpack to malfunction, which i reinstalled, which in turn did some reinstalling of the randomizer mod, after which i became unsure whether a number of items had been, so to say, unrandomized. (I found Namarra, the Staff of Curing and the Cloak of the Sewers in their original locations after this). Upon this i tried reinstalling the randomizer, without the preserving of save games. It will result in a few double items or the like alas, but that is better than everything being in its old positions. However, from testing afterwards it seems to only randomize items of maps i havent visited yet. (For example, the autosave i loaded was from after having visited the temple sewers for resting during the small period my game was unrandomized, i found the same treasure on the Rakshasa and Draug Fea's party in the sewers, while i did find a different (randomized) item in the Bridge district where the Iron Horn of Valhalla normally is (an area i hadnt previously entered)). This was unclear to me from the readme, so it might be a suggestion to note this in newer versions of the readme: It appears reinstalling without preserving save games results in only randomizing items for future (unvisited) areas. (This conclusion might not be full though, i wonder if the items from areas i did visit are 're-randomized' and i might find them again) I wouldnt bother delving into what happened in my game to cause this, it seems to me that most of this is probably to my own fumbling around with the game, but it might be a good thing to know what will happen if you do need to randomize a saved game. For completeness sake though, the version of the randomizer im using is 6.1, and the weidu mods i have installed (partially) are (in no particular order): G3 Tweakpack, Widescreen mod, King Duthkas Thief, Solaufein, d0t Tweakpack and Lvl1NPCs. Another thingy, upon checking for whether i was in a randomized game i noticed Hangards Axe +2 from Draug Feas party (Tarnor) in the sewers is not in the list of randomized items. (i checked the 6.5 readme too btw)
  4. I will, haven't really got any others atm, but i have a notepad alongside my games anyway so i'll keep an eye on it. (Oh and the way the spoiler works is fine, being just a list of items & locations) Hmm, depends on how much you'd want to list, but it doesn't seem too much, might be there's a load of +1 thingies around i dont readily recognize as 'old' treasure though. Here's what i came along thats not yet randomized btw: (Several are quest related of course, like the Baldur Helm that pops up in Degrodel's quest.) *Ring of Free Action (iron throne) * Helm of Balduran (Helm&Cloak, quest related)) * Cloak of Balduran (Undercellars) * Full Plate Mail (Taugosz, Bandit Camp) * Cloak of the Wolf (Safana's Treasure Grotto) * Gauntlets of Weapon Skill (BG Docks, quest related) * Short Sword of Backstabbing +3 (Slythe, Undercellars) * Throwing Axe +2 (Prat (lackeys), Candlekeep Caves) * Helm Infravision (Neira, Nashkel) * Ring Infravision (Nimbul, Nashkel) * Cloak of Nondetection (Tasloi, Cloakwood 1, quest related) * Ring of Protection +1 (Reward Mirianne Beregost Ogrillions quest) And a few i havent checked, but havent received elsewhere, and arent listed in the spoiler: * Spiders Bane +2 (Centeol, Cloakwood) * Mareks Shortbow +2 (Marek, BG NW) * Wand of Polymorph (BG, Boogieman quest) * Sunin's Ring of Wizardry (BG SW) * Boots of Stealth (Wilderness between Nash-Bere, quest related iirc) * Boots of the North (Wilderness N of Gnoll Str, Nobleman with bear There's also a few locations that could use a magic reward that dont have any yet, like the fight in the Flaming Fist compound upon return to Baldurs Gate. If you'd like more ideas for that too, i can also keep a little list of treasureless (but interesting) encounters. Also, like posted in the suggestions thread, i'm all for some rewards randomly switching between TotSC and BG original as well. (ie combining the treasure classes)
  5. Hey there, many thanks for the tool, im having loads of fun with it. Not really a big issue, but it seems the spoiler list is a bit dated or has a few errors. In tutu there's a few items not listed that seem to be randomized, like the Heavy crossbow of accuracy. (same goes for those stacks of large shields you talk about, i found lots more than two). Have you got a new version somewhere, or do you just want me to keep an eye out and hint for other little mistakes? It might also be interesting to include a little list of items that arent (yet able to be) randomized (like the helm & cloak of balduran, ring of free action, Taugosz' full plate, etc)
