I always discounted the Mass Effect as a predefined male lead console game, but apparently it always allowed a female protagonist. So, another port (hopefully upcoming) to look forward to. As to Mass Effect, there was always going to be both genders but, in their infinite wisdom (sarcastic smilie), BioWare (with lots of influence from Microsoft) decided to market a 'vision' for Mass Effect. So we end up with John (Eddie) Shepard's ugly mug everywhere. (Heh...as you can tell it's a 'soapbox' issue for me and many a happy rant as ensued at the BioWare forums. ) Link to comment
