Suggestion and ideas

New Monk items are a good idea, and something I'll look into!

:)

Some type of robe that can only be used by monks would be particularly nice, as would similarly restricted ioun stones and / or jewelry etc... While the fighter kits aren't exactly at a loss for equipment, something special for the new "evil" kits would be welcome - there's quite a few weapons / items that can only be used by good-aligned characters, but rather less for the other side of the spectrum.

Next thing. Maybe a monk kits? (by scripts) - fo example Drunken Master or Red Avenger? :) If you will have got troubles with implenting some of Drunken Master things (like bonuses to attributes by alcohol) then you can check Lester NPC Mod, which have got Drunken Warrior kit (for fighter). But it's now only in polish (translation in progress).

It looks interesting, but I don't know that it would be distinct enough from the Hexblade to warrant coding up. I suppose it might be. What stuff's on their spell list?

I suppose they could be limited to light armour, and the delivering-touch-spells thing could be cool (something similar to the Assassin poison ability, only with the effects of Ghoul Touch or Vampiric Touch and so on).

I'll find the spell list out for you but in the meantime here is a bit more info:

The duskblade casts arcane spells that are drawn from their own unique spell list. Unlike wizards and sorcerers, the duskblade does not have nearly as many spells available to them. Duskblades are like wizards in that intelligence is the driving force of their spells, unlike the sorcerer who must rely on a strong charisma score. Unlike the wizard, however, the duskblade knows a number of spells at a set level, much like the sorcerer and every time they gain a class level as a duskblade they can learn one additional spell of the spell level they can cast.

Also like sorcerers, duskblades do not need to have their spells prepared. This allows them to choose which spell they can cast as the situation demands, without having to worry about choosing a spell they may not find useful after having prepared it.

The duskblade chooses from a small list of spells, however. While most arcane spellcasters have a full nine levels of spells, the duskblade only has five, one spell level less than even the bard class. The duskblade's spell list consists of spells that would be useful in a battle setting and gain very little versatility for anything but the battlefield.

Duskblade spell list can be found on page 24 of the Player's Handbook II.

I am acquiring the PHb II now so I will be able to give a list of the spells later.

Thanks; if you could post some fllavour text too that'd help. So advantages might include the ability to cast some spells as innates (a la Hexblade), the ability to imbue weapons with some touch spells, and the ability to decrease magic resistance temporarily on a successful hit. Disadvantages might be a restriction to studded leather armour (based on the fact it sounds like they still get spell failure, so limiting to light armour I think is a sensible ingame restriction), a limit on specialisation in weapons, and perhaps something else. Perhaps gaining 1 few hit point per level, to represent their smaller hit dice?
