Sure thing! It was my understanding, that all the mods mentioned here in this thread "Mod Compatibility List for EET" are all part of BWS by definition, since BWS is recommended for their installation. And "chatty Imoen" was a pasrt of BWS for a long time, afaik.

 

But I got it - it's a new tool now and modders should take care of integration by themselves.

You have a good point here.

 

EET recommends BWS (+ BWFixpack) as the means to install a modded game. We could therefore assume (silent agreement) that a mod provided for EET is at the same time accepted for BWS inclusion.

 

Under this asumption, I will take the action to look once again at the page 1 list and compare it with BWS to see which mods are missing (except RoT and CtB which cannot be included at the moment for other reasons...we are working on this separately already).

Once I have gathered the facts, let us see what next step can be taken.

 

A bit like that hen and egg thing...

Considered a *living* topic just like the EET compatibility list. Aim is to better synchronise EET and BWS.

Hello,

 

finally I got my favorite mods working:

 

jkits kit mod (used outdated lib)

duskblade kit (used outdated lib)

 

Lostitems (silly me, didnt notice the wrong area-codes)

Kit tomes (dto)

ruad merchant mod ("old" chapter query)

 

Can it be that all (?) 1-Day NPCs are working ?

At least i found that

 

Vildra

Foxmonster(Moddie)

Cassius and

Alassa

 

are ok so far

 

Now, its (almost) only Bonehill missing....

  • Unfinished Business v27alpha (alpha version with native support needs to be tested, Older UBv26 is also compatibile but requires Big World Fixpack patches)

 

Tested and it install fine (in my EET + ~15 mods).

I am just a the beginning of BG1, so it is a long road until I can check if it works ;)

BTW, there's a Fighter kit in this mod (well, a Barbarian kit actually).

It is the link the author personally provided and the one published everywhere, there is no alternative. The problem may be that it uses server github-production-release-asset-2e65be.s3.amazonaws.com, which spam/ad filters may not like.

 

PS - this is not the only mod for which I found exactly the same issue. I can only download them if I disable my blockers for it.

Odd. I even tried just downloading it manually and placing it in the BW Downloads folder, but BWS still tries and fails to download it.

Ahh, okay. I do have Ad Blocker. Is there a link I can go to, so that I can disable ad blocker for it and see if that helps?

 

EDIT: Just saw on Bitbucket that you made an adjustment. Will try again normally.

Drats. Still not working.

 

EDIT: Tell me this though; at any point in an EET game does Jaheira get back her BG2 sounds, or is she locked with only her BG1 sounds the entire time? (I'm only trying to install the "Use BG1+BG2 Character Sounds" component).
